Just a note for anyone trying to reproduce what they saw in the video: fire bombs don't cause damage to the kraken's tentacle, it doesn't make sense to try to throw fire on a creature covered in water.

I've watched so many videos over it over the last couple of years and I've been so ready for it ever since it got announced for PlayStation and cross platform. I'm beyond satisfied with my purchase. An idea that I think would be really cool and amazing is one where in SOT if you have enough gold you could buy a personal island where us pirates could store all our caption ships so we could show them off to friend or just see all your ships together in a fleet also we could customize the island itself and a home on the island where we could show off different weapons,tools,pets,maybe outfits,ship decor and trinkets, etc. We could use gold to buy different building materials that like the buildings that around could be made of so we could change what it looks likes maybe more or less buildings or where we could have huts or you know really anything you see in the SOT you could use/have in your island if you had enough gold to buy it all and i also think all of this stuff should cost a lot and be almost like end game rewards but i think getting the island itself should be not as much or maybe you get like a small starter island with a starter hut and you can buy and upgrade from there or pick a smaller island if you so wanted. I am just thinking and typing at the same time so i don't know if i really made sense or if this seems like a good idea or not but if you do this whole thing and get this far could you tell me your thoughts and what you would like too see or not see if something like this was put into the game. I'll probably post this comment in a few other places (using copy and paste) so more people can see it and talk about it and if people like the idea enough maybe Rare will hear about it. But yea if you have any ideas for what I thought or any feedback let me know. Personally I would love something like this. plus i have so many pets i would love to see them all running around together lol.

Rare, please give players the ability to make their own cinematic videos like this. Photo mode, free camera mode, spectator mode ect. whatever you wanna call doesn't matter. The ability for content creators to allow their creative juices to flow would be a serious boon to getting players hyped for the game!
Never expected to hear Tick Tick Boom in a sea of thieves trailer, but it works surprisingly well! Reminds me of Motorstorm Arctic Edge ....

Once upon a time I sailed the seas on the X BOX, but then it broke down and I got upset, but now I'm swimming in this beautiful sea again❤
-Captain runs out of the cabin as if she doesn’t already know the Kraken is there, as if it could possibly be missed or slept through.
-Despite their crewmate being in mortal danger and every second counting, the old man hands the rifle to the captain instead of taking the shot himself.
-A single bullet gets the endangered crewmate free. I too drop everything I’m holding when I get bitten by an ant.
-Same guy immediately stabs into another tentacle and gets dragged off to his death (presumably to the Kraken’s poison blood that damages you if you stab a tentacle)
-Lady on the cannon should be below decks repairing but instead resorts to small-arms fire instead of using the cannon immediately
-Captain and old man jump off the ship with swords and a Molotov thinking they can kill a whale-sized death leviathan, leaving only one crewmate aboard.
Yeah. It’s bad choreography but it’s pretty accurate to what I’d expect to see in game.
this is probably one of the best ones SOT ever did. GJ to the artists and animators.

3 days into the game me and my cousin got attacked by a kraken and skeleton sloop at the same time, and won, this game is so much fun

I need access to the engine rare uses for the animated trailers. NOW
1:08 Bandana kills 3 phantoms using his pistol that only carries 2 loaded rounds at a time
PLEASE HELP. “Not signed into sea of thieves”(Ashbeard) on PS5 when attempting to launch game. It worked for one day and now back to the same old error. I have tried dozens of things to fix this problem. Cleared cache, deleted game and downloaded again, signed out and in on my Microsoft account and council, unplugged PS5 etc. I have spent many hours attempting to fix this so any help would be very much appreciated, thanks.

It's nice to see The New Legends crew again, or would it be the Tall Tail crew? Oddly nostalgic seeing those four still adventuring, representing that wonderful chaos on the sea. I can't wait to meet all our new PS5 brethren!
One of them is Nine Cat Nura. They’ve been in all the major cinematic trailers.
I prefer calling them the New Legends Crew because them doing the Tall Tales isn’t canon, they just represent the player. And technically solo is the way to do the Tall Tales canonically because all references are towards a singular pirate
Moved from xbox to PS so bought the PS5 version. My black dog set isn't there, is this due to it being an xbox pre order bonus? I thought everything would carry over as its technically linked my xbox account to ps.
