IMM 5532 , You must completed the form and select “ print to PDF” This will created a new version of the form that can be digital signed . Updated from IRCC I just got this new updated too .

Btw. Just in case someone is experiencing an error by downloading a file through online. Try to save the file or photo in your phone and log in in your portal through phone and upload it. Why im saying this. If I used my laptop to upload documents and photos. It doesn’t work. It always shows error. When I save into my phone and re upload it using my phone, it work.

On the Checklist, are we expected to only checkmark those things that apply to us and are being included in our application? For example, do I add a checkmark next to Military Service ONLY if my husband has had experience or currently has experience in the military?..and leave it unchecked if my husband has never had experience in the military? Also, if the checklist says to write "N/A" next to a particular item if it does not apply, will we need to do this (add text to the PDF doc) in the same way that we digitally signed one of the forms?

I wanted to know that my husband is a PR of Canada, at this present moment he is waiting for his invitation for oath to come for his citizenship, we will be applying for my spousal PR by the end of this month or next month i.e. march 2023, my question is that, whether we should wait for his citizenship certificate to come and then apply for my spousal PR or we should submit my spousal PR application and after that when his certificate will come then we'll just update that certificate in the portal.. Just to clarify, it's your husband(the principal applicant) that must create the account in the portal using their own email address. You, as a sponsor should not. I have a video on this. Check it out for clarification. its up on my channel.

The complexity of the immigration system, the constant updates to the system in Canada tells me that Canada is trying to discourage people from coming here. I have had forms come back whereby the immigration agent has made a mistake themselves.

Hi Suyash, very nice and helpful video. I was digitally signing the form the way you showed. I am able to sign it. But once I open the form again just to check it if the signatures are there, I found that the signatures are missing on the page 8 (for both the PA and sponsor). The other two signatures are present on earlier pages. Those two missing signatures are only showing when we are zooming in or out the document but not at 100% zoom ratio (default when pdf is opened). The only way i can fix is adding a digital signature (rather than typing in a text box) using the Adobe feature (Add a signature). This signature still includes first and last name but in a fancy font. Is it still valid?

@@gauravkasalkar9587 if the instructions as per my Video were still valid i wouldn’t have told you what i did. it used to be ok for the sponsor to submit on behalf of PA(i did too and had no issues) but it seems ircc now expect applicants to create the portal account and submit the application themselves. So sponsor can still act as representative but PA will create account and submit themselves. You can verify this info on guide 5289
You can but You don’t have to upload in one session. Take your time with the application, be thorough and keep saving your work every time you want to take a break.

Hi Suyash, I signed the IMM 1344 document by typing my name and then getting my spouse to do the same. I validated the document, got the bar codes, and then uploaded the document online. When I tried to open the document again it gives that generic pdf error. So my question will IRCC themselves be able to open it? Yes I am using Adobe Acrobat 10 with a PC.

Question! The forms that need a hand signature, if I have filled it out the entire form digitally do they allow a separate upload for the signature page OR do they require the entire entire form to be handwritten along with the signature. P.S- love that your videos are well explained
Digital forms(0008, 5406, 5562 and 5669: explained in the video) don't need hand signature(You can't since they are digital). PDF forms 1344, 5533, 5532 are filled as PDF files, using your computer, they do not need to be hand written. In fact, there is nothing hand written at all.
Hi, what about any letters from our friends and relatives provided as additional supporting documents? Do they have to be printed, signed and scanned, or they can also just type their names at the end and provide a photo of their passport? Thanks.
For IMM 5669, I'm having difficulty with finding enough space in the digital form to write complete names of schools and some other education details for my husband. What do I do if the space provided is not adequate? Can I still (like with the paper application) submit an extra pdf document that gives the complete names/info which I cannot supply on the form because of lacking space?

THEY MADE AVAILABLE IMM008, AND IMM5669 AS PDF ON THERE WEBSITE , I DOWNLOADED TODAY FOR MY WIFE .

so, the instructions have recently changed. now the PA needs to create their portal account and submit the application through that.

Till now IMM5532 form is not updated , we can't sign digital signature. We should get print out then sign it and atlast scan and upload.
