- “We’re here to put a dent in the universe,” said Apple co-founder Steve Jobs about his life. He might also have been trying to put some major waves in the ocean, if his insane mega-yacht, Venus, is anything to go by.
Venus is recognized for its seamanship today, but it almost didn’t get built. Let’s get started to hear the full story about this and other fantastic yachts owned by today’s titans of tech.
It looks like a floating Apple Store
Amazing story, well told. Want to see more.
Very unfortunate he wasn't able to live long enough to witness it's completion.
Venus was docked here on the Gold Coast, Australia for the last 6 weeks. Its beautiful up close. I watched her leave from my oceanfront apartment, heading due ENE. 20 KNTS 😊
Very nice.

He gave everybody that worked on it an ipod shuffle. Cheap cheap
12 guests and 22 crew ?! Surely you could squeeze in 2 or 3 mor guests - right ??
Twelve privileged people and twenty two slaves, but hell it's green right? 😆🤣😂
12 guests is the maximum amount of people you can have on a yacht before it has to be certified under the passenger yacht code, which adds many more regulations that have to be followed and can be quite costly, limiting most yachts to just 12 passengers. Crew is not limited however and so they can have as many as they need.
Nope. Lol
Every ship needs a cat
That is one ugly yacht.
That thing is ugly.
It's so ugly
