The purpose of this is to depict a realistic idea of what a remade/remastered Halo CE would look like in Unreal 5. I often see a lot of these videos, but they're almost always pathtraced renders and non-reflective of what gamers would experience in realtime.
For other examples, feel free to check out my UE5 Halo animations/skits. They’re all mid-quality renders, since I don’t have the patience to wait two days for pp-jokes.
This was very nice to see, if the rumors around the CE remake end up being true id definitely be down to see it like this.

Fr, he was a different person ever since after Halo 3. Only with Infinite did they start to get his character feeling more like the Chief I know, love, and remember.
I’m still upset that he died in Halo 3, but at least we didn’t have to go through the pains of another company resurrecting a beloved franchise only to ruin it with their own crappy idea of what Halo and Master Chief should be… wouldn’t that be tragic

@@thegrayghoul4638what part of halo infinites chief felt more like the og chief to you? Everyone complained about the chief having a miniscule amount of emotions in halo 4, and for infinite they made him the warmest, most emotionally intelligent dad character ive ever seen. He was lovigand caring for the people around him like they where his own children. This made zero sense for him as a character. I have never felt this out if character playing as him as in infinite. Since when is the chief a cozy dad? none of the characters made any sense, but him and the weapon where the absolute worst in my personal opinion

Great work :) If it saves time/effort on the render, I believe Spartan armour wouldn't have any shiny metal on/under it since that would be a terrible camouflage! It's probably matte underneath if anything

I could have sworn that the lore actually mentions that the armor's plating has a reflective coating to assist in impact mitigation of plasma weaponry.

Yeah alright. I personally thought halo 4 was fine and infinite had a pretty good campaign in my opinion. It’s halo 5 I have an issue with.

It looks like they aimed to “modernize” the CE armor. Meaning, they color it darker, just as they did for halo 2 and 3

Halo ce on the original xbox looks better, and no im not crazy, im just smarter than most and can understand that aesthetic and style will always be better than graphics.

Nice! This also relevant because a new Halo CE remake (not remaster) was leaked a couple days ago, and is suspected to be in UE5.
How did you make the model? Did you just use game assets, or design it on your own?
It’s the model from Infinite. Found it on Sketchfab courtesy of a hero named Abel. All I did was give it a basic rig 👌🏽

@@flyingdoggo9887 we don't really onow anything, other than multiple leaks saying a CE remake (and specifically NOT remaster) was considered for a cross platform release with cut content
@@flyingdoggo9887 Because they don't know the difference. The rumors say it's in UE5 - which will automatically make it a remake, since they have to literally rebuild it for the engine.

I didn’t, this is just the Infinite Mark V model with a basic environment I whipped up.
Well Gears of War was always made in Unreal so Halo should't be too bad.

They won’t that’s the Mark 7 adaptations of the Mark V so it wouldn’t make sense more wise
@@3lectric220 No. It's the Combat Evolved Mark V Kit. Not an adaptation. It's like saying that Chief's Mark VI GEN3 Kit is a Mark VII adaptation just because they're on the same customization platform in the Armor Hall.
CE MkV Kit model is wrong. Chest, codpiece, belt/ammo pouches, and boots all messed up.
You mean chief’s CE MKV in infinite? It looks phenomenal what are the issues you have with it…
@@Videot78 Chest is way too flat and its shape looks nothing like Mark V. The belt breaks on both sides. The pouches should sit on top of the codpiece but this codpiece has a different design/shape therefore it's impossible. It should have a "briefs" like shape instead of a Mark VI knock off with Mark V textures on it. The pouches should cover half of the abdominal plate but here they are stuck to the codpiece. The boots are angular instead of being rounded. Not to mention it uses the Mark VII gloves lol.
It's a shame because the rest of the armor is great.
@@Videot78 Marcus Lehto's updated Mark V is the best. He created the OG. Compare that to Infinite's kit.

@@reaverich7951 I think the general hype about moving from Slipspace Engine is because of its well-known issues and complexities. Mix that with routinely rotated temp staff and you got yourself a game made out of sticks and glue. A popular engine like Unreal/Unity increases the applicant pool of talent who can hit the ground running instead of spending their first three months onboarding and learning a proprietary engine.
You could've just said this looked like shit, and that'd have been straight-no harm, no foul, it is what it is. But ask yourself why you're so quick to comment about a game engine of all things. Nothing's that serious, homie. Focus on the positive things - like Halo moving in a potentially better direction.
