Hoover Dam Kingman Wash Boondock Camping

We make the trip on a dirt 4WD road about 4 miles to Kingman Wash near Hoover Dam and Las Vegas. Kingman Wash is on the Arizona side of Lake Mead Recreation Area. Dispersed Boondock camping is allowed here and is excellent. The road is slightly rough but doable in just about any vehicle with AWD or 4WD.

I've got a 24 foot travel trailer pulling it with a Ram 1500 4x4 I wonder if I could make that.Boulder Beach Campground is full tomorrow need to find another spot.

I personally would not recommend it, however, when I was there, I saw a couple of rigs like yours. They made it down there, I’m not sure they can make it out! On the bright side, there are a couple places to camp on the way in before the steep section.
