    Awesome video! More bounce sounds intimidating but it actually is so much more forgiving.

      Yeah I've been working on trapping my wedges so I'm a digger too. If you get higher bounce wedges you'll love it.

      @@BeyondGolfPerformanceI'm the opposite, shallow sweeping chipper. I use butter knives lol, 8° bounce is perfect for me for my 54/58.. with a grind with a lot of heel and toe relief

    Vokey also eliminated the 54°-10° V Grind, however this wasn't brought back like the 54°-08° M Grind was.
    Making due with a SM9 54°-10 S Grind. Also replaced my 58°-06° K Grind with a SM9 58°-04° T Grind.

    Really nice insight into club fitting! What exactly are they talking about when they say grind?

    • @BeyondGolfPerformance
      @BeyondGolfPerformance  4 месяца назад

      The grind refers to the way the wedges are physically shaped to allow for a certain interaction with the ground as the club passes through impact.

    • @apaulmcdonough2170
      @apaulmcdonough2170 4 месяца назад

      Sole Shape. The Vokey website has a Section that shows how and why each Grind is Different for certain purposes.

    Hey just curious, not sure if I heard correctly but if you play your irons 2 degrees flat then why would he have your wedges less than 2 degrees flat? Isn't it common practice to have your wedges same or flatter than your irons?

    • @BeyondGolfPerformance
      @BeyondGolfPerformance  3 месяца назад +1

      It's really subjective. I ended up recently changing my irons to 1 degree flat in and I kept the same 1 degree flat in my gap wedge, SW and LW. 2 Degrees flat was too much for my full swing SW shots and was making certain shots around the green difficult with my LW
