come for the sm10, stay for the priceless chipping tips with Billy and Bob 🙏
Billy is a very articulate ideal pro to interview for these episodes. Everyone might have the shots but not every can explain it as succinctly.
Awesome video ! Every golfer should see this. It’s worth a million bucks. And maybe I’m a little bias because Billy H is my favorite Tour Pro. Awesome guy all around, and he shows respect for the amateur struggles instead of punching down at them. Kudos to Billy, Titleist, and Mr. Vokey. My only wedges for life.
This was fun to watch and Billy came across as not only a great chipper pitcher of the golf ball, but a good dude. Showed Bob V a lot of respect.
What a fantastic insight into Billy’s outlook and wedge play.. I can’t lie it has blown my mind 😂 but thanks Titleist for the content. 👏👏👏
Lots of tip videos out there. This one is a jewel
Great video guys. Really cool to hear the pro go through all this. Appreciate Billy and appreciate y’all from a golf nerd like me!
Good to hear this. As an amateur I only play with a 50 and a 56. Also picturing the shot from behind before hitting is soooo important!
Love these!
Also that V grind is the truth. Ive gone between M and D for years. M is awesome around the greens but not as good from fairway. Opposite for D. V is dead in between. Hope they release it wide in the SM10.
I haven’t tried the D grind but I agree with the M grind point. I really like it around the green with tighter lies, firmer sand but it digs more than I would like for partial wedges, fuller shots
@@jakephelps4766M and D are the Same Grind, D is the High Bounce M.
I have a 54°- 10° V Grind (basically SM6 vintage) that I had special ordered from WedgeWorks. Replaced it with a Special Order 54° - 10° S because 54° V is no longer available.
I was in a 60 08 M for a while. I experienced the same as you. Just didn’t get it done for me on fuller shots from the fairway. I became so reliant on my 56 D for those shots in the 70-90 range. Probably was a blessing in disguise because it really cleaned up my technique. Anyways. Redid the wedge setup and went with the V in the lob. I can’t explain how happy I am with.
Got fitted for the D in my SW and Lob but they didn’t have the V. I ordered the V Lob from Wedge Works and those two are my favorite wedges of all time. Every player should use the D for SW imo.
Billy is class
billy is the man
More Billy horschel the man is IT
Fantastic 😊😊😊😊
I bet they went to Dorsia after this.
Ordered a 55 & 60 sm10's yesterday from demo in AZ. I love chipping. 100 per day.
If you have never tried a Vokey wedge start with the M grind. I recently tried a K grind and wasn't too crazy about it. The M grind is very player friendly whereas some of the other grinds might be harder to work with. If you're a single handicapper, then the grinds might be easier to work with. Callaway makes a very good wedge as well.
tuff vid
What a clinic
One thing I’m good at is hitting the ground before the ball. 😂
When do these drop? Ive got an SM8 54 that I really need to replace but waiting for SM10...
March
Feb 15th
Can begin pre-orders Feb. 15th, and available to ship and in stores Mar. 8th
I can play with wedges 8 hours a day if someone would pay me😂.
A Vokey deal would be a dream. Not to worry about a late season tournament on firm greens. Knowing you can still hit a 50 yarder that bites the green like the ball has Sand paddles on it.
LIV is to golf what the Globetrotters are to basketball. Stay PGA. Stay real. Go BH
Pros always criticizing amateurs
it's ashamed they are making this old guy work at his old age. Pay him his damn pension and let him retire!
he just not very good
Billy wishes he was on liv. Blew it
Billy is just another divider sheep. Totally lost respect for him. Not growing the game along with Jay Monahan is his legacy.
With those shorts... is Billy joining LIV? 😊
