This seems exactly like what I hoped it would be: a companion piece to Larraín’s last film, 2016’s Jackie. An introspective character study about an iconic 20th Century woman. Stewart looks amazing

This is just the trailer, yet I'm ALREADY SHIVERING by her acting in this film. She captures Diana's sadness very well, the mannerisms, the looks! I smell an Oscar coming.
I have a feeling she will be nominated for this, just like Natalie Portman was for Jackie.

I think Kristen can bring so much experience from her personal life into this perfomance, which proves once again how perfectly she was chosen for the role. Both Diana and Kristen faced enormous public attention at a very young age. Diana suffered from the indifference of her family, and Kristen from people who hated her for no reason.Both of them were not accepted and understood by different people. I think their feelings are pretty similar in some way

Kristen Stewart beautifully nuanced performance as Diana, Pablo Larraín's directing and Jonny Greenwood's score has revived my passion for PURE cinema, something I did not feel was possible in today's industry. I can't leave without also mentioning the exquisite film photography of French cinematographer Claire Mathon. A breathtaking film that is simply a must see on the Big screen.

No one is going to look exactly like Diana, unless you want to use cgi to mocap a facsimile of Diana’s face on Stewart’s body. In the end it’s more important that she get’s the spirit of Diana across, and ultimately mannerisms and delivery are more important than looks (Brandon Routh as Superman may have almost looked the part for example, but all he really did was look like Reeve but didn’t have his charisma or presence).
