- Christian Horner's future in Formula 1 is in limbo after allegations of misconduct came to light in recent weeks. The Red Bull boss still remains with the team for now, but as an independent investigation continues, his future in the sport looks more and more doubtful. Various reports have exposed the seriousness of the allegations against Horner, but until the findings are handed down, we don't know what will happen to Christian Horner. There have been calls for him to step aside, but Christian denies any wrongdoing. Enjoy.

That’s why teams supported them because the whole industry is based off nepotism and favoritism. This is just a clear attack to get rid of Horner based of a lie. The toto and Susie thing wasn’t a lie it’s obvious they talk to each other they are husband and wife. It would’ve just opened up a can of worms that would have affected everyone.
How do you know the horner situation is based on a lie? The Susie and Toto thing was based on a rumour by a very sleazy F1 magazine that claimed they knew Toto and susie shared information with each other that gave Toto an up and also claimed Susie passed the information Toto gave her to FOM which used that against teams. That was based on a lie and the FIA tried to claim teams had brought up complaints but they then had to dny that because it was a very clear witch hunt. Also, according the newspaper that first reported this Horner's lawyers tried to pay her off. This newspaper tried to keep the identity of the complainant seret but some American paper disclosed that information yesterday and the person who they claim made the complaint, makes it's even more likely true than it already seemed.@@weignerleigner3037

I personally do not like Horner, but the investigation needs to run its course. If he did what has been reported he needs to go. But until everything is out and the investigation is completed it’s all speculation.

I agree! If this is a false or an untrue complaint RB has to clear him. And do it strongly.
With how much this is being covered, it doesn't feel like there's much on what exactly the details are. There's so many conflicting stories on the thoughts of all the sides that I think it's just best to wait until all this is finished. Maybe it's best it's intentionally kept ambiguous for privacy's sake. If it is true, then 2024 could be Christian's last season (maybe exiting even before that).
What's more interesting if it is true would be what exactly would happen to Red Bull after that and whether or not whoever becomes his successor could continue leading the team to performing at that level. What happens if Christian Horner leaving causes an exodus from people who think his successor may not be the person to lead the team into 2026? In a way, 2024 and 2025 are already critical for all F1 teams to put together a productive and coherent year because 2026 is already around the corner. So having a controversy like this that could see the sacking of their team principal could cause problems for the team that last years.
In a way it now looks like the one thing that could bring down Red Bull isn't another team. It's themselves.

one thing to remember is presume innocence until proven otherwise. just let the investigation happen as we know the court of public opinion is for majority of the time toxic and does more harm than good.

The key ist not to talk about new stuff, what matters for me with videos like these is that we can discuss the matter in the comments. Since F1 is still a few days away, videos like these are very welcome. That being said, I really hope for Horner that these allegations are not true, eventhough I'm a Mercedes fan. It would suck to see him go as he's been around for very very long and he's obviously good at his job. If everything is true he has to go though, but it would still be a huge loss for F1.

Yank here. I dont see much F1 news outside of this channel, the P1 podcast, and Behind the Drive. No news media in my home town would even know who Christian Horner is. Hiya, appearantly he sent inappropriate text messages to a female co worker and appearently she has some evidence which apppearantly can be used in court against him, appearantly. Ford is of course aware of the allegations and they kinda made a statement about how their partners should behave just in case everything should be true.

As a female F1 fan, you tend to deal with all kinds of nonsense and this situation is no different. This person has already been doxxed by an American media outlet and been mocked by fans.
That said, even though I don't like Horner, I want to see what the investigation says. How they act will determine the values of the team and company and sponsors.

im eager to find out what has actually been going on, I like Christian and as a TP i have immense respect for what he has achieved from being given Dietrichs trust in a early age to convert the Jaguar team to winners. There are so many posts adding new stuff or contradicting with what was said the day before and all of them seem to hang on the "source: trust me bro"
some proof would be lovely, but i have faith that the investigation will run its course anyway. Its not something to be taken lightly, but he is innocent until its proven otherwise for me
All speculation for now but if there were texts the truth they will eventually come out. I hope it is settled soon. Rumors and speculation are just that and the investigation process needs to be completed so everyone can move forward.

Well, it's hard to know what to think. If the allegations are true, then he has to go. It doesn't look like this will get settled privately, which is very important here. Fans deserve the truth, and if there is a victim, they deserve justice.
Separate to that, it will be interesting to see how this effects RB in the long run. Hopefully they at least remain somewhat competitive, but this whole thing really has the potential to destabilise the team even if Horner is found innocent.

It all honesty. I wish that they would release a few more details about what actually went on because all the speculation and rumours are only doing more damage and the reality is if it’s a controlling management style and nothing sexual then in my opinion, what should be done is other female staff should be spoken to And asked for their take on the situation because we don’t know how long this person has worked there they could be new it could be anything information is not publicly being shared but all that I’ve seen that has been said is it’s about a controlling management style in my opinion based on that they should really be talking to the other female staff at Red Bull because if it’s an issue to a female staff member and a controlling management style and potentially other female staff members might’ve been able to collaborate her story, or they might be able to sweep it under the rug that’s my opinion at least. Based on those that have been listed as being called into ad don’t recall seeing any female staff listed and have female staff so that’s raising more questions to me on how long this person has worked there and what is actually going on.

Like most of us, I don't know the entirety of the details of this case. But what I do know a bit about is the issue of whistleblowing.
If you're going to blow the whistle on a serious issue, from financial misconduct to inappropriate behaviour or anything else that could prompt an investigation, like what's going on with Horner and Red Bull, you have to be 1000% sure in your conviction. Because those looking at the case to convict will go to the ends of the Earth to prove the case right and those defending will do the same in the opposite direction.
As previously mentioned, I know nothing of the case between Horner, the complainant and Red Bull, but I do know that these things do take time. As such, Christian Horner is innocent until proven guilty and will carry on as Red Bull team principal, a concept a worryingly high number of people are failing to grasp, either because they're blinded by hatred or just unwilling to let events run their course.

I think it should be very simple for Red Bull- if the allegations are true, Christian Horner must leave. But apart from that, the ripple effect that may cause RB could be devastation, e.g if Adrian Newey leaves. As an RB fan who also admires Christian Horner, this could get very interesting

I have googled and googled and googled I cannot find a single credible news outlet that has actually listed any allegations, how can we be saying that "these allegations are serious" and " if they are true it's not something we should tolerate in the sport" when there haven't been any actual allegations made. "inappropriate behaviour" is so extremely vague that we have some outlets claiming it to be sexual messages despite that the original De Telgraaf piece never actually stated any circumstances to the situations. Other outlets have claimed that it was "inappropriate controlling behavior". What does that mean? Did he say do x task by y time frame or you are fired or did he threten to shave her bald if she didn't listen to him? It is so incredibly vague. Until there is actual, understandable, and defined allegations and a verdict we shouldn't be saying things like we cant accept this kind of behavior in F1... what behaviour, we haven't been told what he allegedly did.
So, first time here and on this topic, listened with a half ear to this video and still dont know what the allegations are. Missed chance.

Can somebody at least tell what allegedly happened, did he also called somebody the N-word on live stream, grabbed somebody by the a*s, got drunk at the RB Xmas party? What is actually behind all these "Inappropriate behavior allegations".
To those picking sides, wait until the case is over and/or we have a majority of evidence to make judgements off of.
I don't think is true, 20 years in the same position of power and never was even a rumor.
My whole issue with this is that we have had so many random reports that have come out to the point where I am not even sure what he is being investigated. Normally I would say "Believe the victim, and investigate thoroughly!" However with this, because there are so many different reports coming out that conflict with each other that I don't even know what he was investigated for specifically. He should get the boot if the sexual allegations are true and blacklisted from F1 entirely, but because of the amount of crap spreading around, sometimes false information, it's hard to decipher what's accurate and what's not. People wanted to force a story out of this since Red bull is the main target and because DTS made Red Bull the bad guy in Formula 1, people want the team to burn down for some reason. It's bullshit really. We have literally no choice to see what the investigation turns up.
We're all going to have to wait for the resolution; I've heard in other videos that some media reported that the investigation could take months to finish.
From my perspective, there are three possible outcomes:
1. Christian Horner is innocent and measures are taken against they who had the idea to out him of the team and the sport with the allegations.
2. Christian Horner is guilty, leaves the team and the sport, is probably banned for a few years if not indefinitely, and we may see him again in 10 years backing some young, talented driver.
3. Christian Horner is found to be sexually involved with an employee in more or less consensual terms, but it was either discovered or they had a falling out or someone in the team wanted to use it as a pretext to get rid of him, drawing a very grey line. Chances are he stays at red bull after this, but with a likely damaged reputation and leaves the team (and maybe the sport) after a few years.
To add to number 3, even if sexual activities are consensual between both parties and there is no power abuse, that doesn't mean that there isn't a power disparity. An employee getting involved with a boss could be very risky business for all parts.
I personally hope the truth is my number 1 option, though it would not surprise me if my 3rd option also happened to be the case.
I consider number 2 to be the least likely to be true; I would find myself extremely dissapointed with Christian Horner, since I have a very positive image of him.
Why not mention what the allegations are if you are referring to them anyways?

The whole thing sounds like a hit job. Horner wants more control of Red Bull and a piece of the ownership so he can ride off into the sunset at some point. It’s very interesting how whenever men get accused of wrong doing against women, men on the internet go crazy with “innocent until proven guilty” and making jokes of it.
When this first came out everyone (who might I had were go against rumors) chose to believe it’s just Red Bull trying to get him out, even when it’s coming from good sources. Yet the wolf situation everyone believe it off bad.
This type of stuff is so sick and disgusting. You don’t care about the truth just your own biases.

A lot of bias in evaluating this case depends on how much of a Red Bull fan you are... or not.
Until he’s proven guilty, he’s innocent so stop the speculating and stirring up additional trouble. People talk too damn much.
The only credible claim I've heard yet about the allegations is "misconduct." I still don't know exactly what it is he's been accused of, and frankly the way that the whole situation has played out is a bit suspect. Therefore, I cannot justifiably say what should or shouldn't happen other than Horner should be allowed to continue doing his job until the investigation is complete. I think it's a bit pointless to continue to speculate before we even have any solid answers.
Everything else I've heard so far has been complete hearsay, unattributed to any credible sources, and clickbait bullshit. So I have no idea what you're referring to when you talk about the "seriousness" of anything, because I have yet to hear any specifics that have proven to be credible. It's entirely possible that I'm uninformed, but I'd rather stay that way until we have official word on the matter than form my opinion around baseless speculation.
