I don't think I have ever seen such a violent and immediate reaction to a snake appearing on the screen. 😂 Had to be genuine since it was so instantaneous. Why are you so frightened of snakes Chi? Did you have a bad experience?
Snakes very dangerous. Poison. Deadly to all people. Even Whoopi Goldberg. Some snakes will wrap themselves around a person and squeeze them to death. Even Whoopi Goldberg. Some snakes will even swallow a human being whole. Not Whoopi Goldberg.
Big snakes are rather common and kill a lot of people in their neck of the woods. More common of a phobia in South East Asia. My grandma used to live there and there was a local snake that had eaten multiple people just hanging out inside her car.
@@RussianBearMafia I don't think it's anything particular to Vietnam. Women dislike snakes the world over. They certainly do where I live in Appalachia. A significant slice of the population are afraid of them, anyway. Heck, there's a verse in Genesis about women being made to hate snakes.
My grandfather taught me to not be afraid of snakes. We lived on a farm, and there were plenty of non-venomous black snakes in the area. If he came across one, he'd catch it and bring it to the house for me and my sister to touch. He would then release the snake into what we called a corn crib, a structure he stored corn in that hadn't been removed from the cob yet, where the snake hopefully kept mice away from the corn.
They did use the burn in the hand. That's how the Nazis found out the length of the Staff of Ra. But the burns only showed them one side of the medallion, not the backside which told that the staff needs to be shorter.

The huge German guy fighting Indy by the plane was played by Pat Roach, a British actor and pro wrestler. Roach also played a big Sherpa who fights Indy in Marion's bar in Nepal. Roach is also in Temple of Doom and very briefly in The Last Crusade.
Here is a fact that might surprise you just as it surprised me about the scene with the swordsmen. Spielberg intended for it to be a fight scene to show off Indy as someone who can hold his own in a fight. One problem though. That morning when they were doing the takes Harrison Ford was severely sick. He did the fight sequence a couple of times but was too weak to keep going. Spielberg needed to get the scene done so he let Ford decide what to do and instead of a fight Harrison decided to pull his gun instead. Spielberg laughed so hard he actually fell out of his chair and this became the scene that went into the movie.
the two of you are so adorable, even more so when you get frightened! I feel a little guilty laughing at your getting scared, but that was possibly the most enjoyable movie reaction that I have seen. you would get so focused on trying to figure out the science and strategy that you wouldn't see the jump scares coming. 23:10 "Maybe they can use that." They did! That's why the Nazis' staff had been too long, and therefore they were digging in the wrong place. They only read the message from the one side of the medallion that got burned into his hand; they didn't know that the reverse side said to change the staff length.

Or perhaps some Jackie Chan movies? I grew up on them. They're amazing! Keep the movies coming Chi, Hella, and Tien! You rock!
Little fun fact, at 16:30 they had a whole choreographied fight but Harrison was sick that day and didnt felt like it so he improvised just shooting the bad guy wich they kept after all 🙃 also if i can help with this scare of snakes wich seems pretty intense haha, most snakes are harmless, snakes know they cant eat something bigger then the largest part of their body so unless you are attacking or threatening them, theyre pretty gentle, especially non venomous one wich only 10-15% out of every species actually are 😉 this was so fun, hope yall do the other ones, its such a good franchise 😁
The German soldier who is 'killed' by the aeroplane propeller is English wrestler and actor Pat Roach. He has other memorable screen fights, against Arnold Schwarzenegger in Conan the Destroyer, and Sean Connery as James Bond in the unofficial bond film Never Say Never Again. In the UK he is well known for his role in the 1980's TV series Auf Wiedersehen Pet. He makes a return visit in Indiana Jones at the Temple of Doom and a very brief appearance in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
I'm sure a dozen people have already said this, but at 16:40 there's allegedly a story about that. Ford was sick on the day of filming, so he suggested Indy just shoot his opponent.
John Rhys-Davies (Sallah) has confirmed this. Most of the crew was sick too from eating some tainted local food. Spielberg himself wasn't sick. He had brought a trunk full of canned food and wouldn't eat anything local!

I saw this in the theatre when I was 7 years old. Your reactions to the scary parts brought back some memories. 😆
The huge German guy fighting Indy by the plane was played by Pat Roach, a British actor and pro wrestler. Roach also played a big Sherpa who fights Indy in Marion's bar in Nepal. Roach is also in Temple of Doom and very briefly in The Last Crusade.
New drinking game for this movie: take a shot every time Chi and Hella scream!
That visceral snake reaction, priceless.🤣
5:56 "ahhh! fuk. it." -Chi
the two of you are so adorable, even more so when you get frightened! I feel a little guilty laughing at your getting scared, but that was possibly the most enjoyable movie reaction that I have seen. you would get so focused on trying to figure out the science and strategy that you wouldn't see the jump scares coming. Thank you so much for the enjoyable evening.
23:10 "Maybe they can use that." They did! That's why the Nazis' staff had been too long, and therefore they were digging in the wrong place. They only read the message from the one side of the medallion that got burned into his hand; they didn't know that the reverse side said to change the staff length.
3:16 "Don't make a mess!"
Oh boy, was that prophetic. 🤣
You girls have the best energy and reactions. Keep it up!
Haven’t seen this movie so all I’ve got is: CHI, your hair looks amazing.😱
2:39 "I like his whip..." That's what she said :)
5:54 I'm surprised that they don't like big snakes. :)
16:34 'Never bring a sword to a gun fight.' ;)
17:40 Lol "I believe so."
22:08 Haha!
22:41 Yeah, but I don't think she cares. :)
24:25 Why snakes... :D
25:54 Ok, they don't like big snakes :D
28:00 That is one of the funniest things ever.
I can just imagine going to a movie theater with both of you - it would be hilarious!
I seen this when it first came out 1981 at the Movie theater when I was a kid...
Your reactions to this movie are so cute!
You girls are growing up so fast. Never change your good hearts.
Great choice of movie girl’s and amazing reaction every time thank you 💕✨
for anyone wondering, when Jones offers Marion $3000, that's $67,672 in today's money....
It's actually closer to 10,000. Exaggerate much?
@@nickreed3031 internet conversion sites all told me 67K, not gonna claim different….
@@nickreed3031 3000 dollars in 1936 IS WORTH $67,672 today. Learn much?
@@nickreed3031 well, that's because he used the 1936 to 2024 inflation rate to calculate, and of course the movie was set in that year, not 1981
And that's only the payment in advance. I believe he said 2k more after they get there or do it or something like that. So $5000 then would be like over $100,000 to us
The amount of screaming in this reaction is so hilarious. I love watching it. Such a fun reaction.
Chi and Hella im so glad you enjoyed the movie i adore your reactions and they always have me in stiches every time you are both so funny and amazing,
Love your Reactions ,,,,, Keep doing your thing ( You Ladies are on a Roll)💥💥💥
Wow! This is one of my favorite series!!💙 I'm so happy to your reaction of this amazing movie!!🩵
"I cannot see with my full eyes" @24:27, then she makes glasses with her fingers. I love it! You girls are reacting so well. "A-a-a-a! Why did it have to be snakes?" The better to scare you with my pretties.
So glad to see Chi back! Don't worry Chi, the snakes just want to give you a big hug, a big bone crushing hug haha
OMG OMG.... im happy, thanks ladies
That was fun. Entertainment++ !! Good job ladies! 😎
Good times. Thanks from Panama city Beach, FL
Biggest reactions yet! Gotta watch the rest!
I'm really glad you are going through all the classics. All of these movies have been a nostalgia trip. It reminds me of my childhood back when I would pop a VHS tape / CD on the weekends and watch it with my older siblings. I recommend giving "Napolean Dynamite" next for an awkward comedy vibe.
Oh boy the reaction to the first snake was a good foreshadowing of the freak-outs to come lol!
Not only Ford, almost the whole crew was affected. The only one not sick was Spielberg, who only ate canned food from Harrod's.
Yeah the poor guy practiced for months for his scene with the sword.
@@johnwest5837 There are some clips of the fight floating around so some of it was filmed, but I understand why they didn't include them. That scene got the biggest cheer of the whole movie when I saw it in the first release.
Davies talks about the poor sanitation on the set in the Inside of You podcast. He claims to have almost died losing 20 lbs. in a few days.
This one was fantastic watching with you women, it looks like you had so much fun, I loved when you were looking through your hand glasses because you didn’t want to look at the snakes, but you had to ha ha. and it’s one of my favorite movies of all time. I love Steven Spielberg and I love Harrison Ford. You can’t go wrong with Raiders of the lost ark!
A lot of these 80s movies that you watch, I was a small boy in the 80s. It's my childhood, so it's fun seeing them with people who haven't seen them before. Your reactions are very innocent, like a child like spirit. Maybe your Asian upbringing exposes you to less than what America's see. But it's refreshing to see. You've seen a lot of Steven Spielberg films! Maybe someday his popular film E.T. (original theatrical release, no cgi!). Many children of the 80's have very fond memories and a special place in our heart for E.T.🤗
