Anika, I'm a fan for quite a while now. You're a fantastic drummer, with incredible facility, great touch and feel. I'm sure you'd sound really good on any drums, but I have to say that I preferred the sound of your Mapex drums to these Tama's and yet I think that Tama builds really great drums. Who knows?

Damn this kit sounds and looks anazinggggg. Even tho I still prefer the sound and feel and looks of the more aggressive thicker Starclassics, At first I thought tama stars sounded too thin and open especially the maples but the Bubinga and walnut sound incredible under mics in both live situations and studio. In person they sound great and they feel just as good but when you hear them back in a recording or the audience point of view it is the best drum sounds I’ve ever heard. But I am totally happy and content with my tama starclassic BB hyperdrives and my backup silverstar kit. Tama is just the best imo. Nothing comes close for me
Jose Feliciano - It's a 20" kick and I think the toms are hyper drive sizes, so she might not be as tall as you think. I don't know how tall she is, though.
