- This week the Buckleys continue the renovation of their back garden, what could go wrong?....nothing! because they used Ronseal which does exactly what it says on the tin! :)

The weather has been glorious which also means aswell as diy'ing in the garden, the Buckleys were also hanging out, finding new ways to keep Paisley cool and some new toys for the boys!
Clair also makes a visit to see some brand new baby twins, which gives us all the broody feelings....except James of course.
James and the kids head out for a fun lads day without mum and really treat themselves! Tune in to find out how :)

Finally found vlogs that aren’t all about boring beauty/clothing hauls. So down to earth and normal! Plus I’m old and love a good video about painting decking 😂. No sarcasm intended!
Paint the edges of the decking,you'll see how much better it looks, and check out good quality sails (canopies), they block out harmful UV rays , keep you dry, and let lots of light through. Love your channel.

Great to see Claire so excited by yet another DIY project, that turned out really well. I saw James on the screen, when I popped into the post production sound studio a few weeks ago, which was a nice surprise. Nice to see Paisley and the boys enjoying themselves.

Great Vlog! Just done my decking in same colour.. but with a very small brush! Little tear came out whilst watching you paint it with some kind of decking brush that makes it very easy.. Live in learn huh!!

get the BBQ gear on the decking area with a canope so that the leaves dont get on the gear
Yeah we were looking at canopies. I think that might be the way to go
The only downside to BBQs on decking other than fire risk is food falling underneath and attracting mice/rats nests.
Love the division of labour for the first 10 minutes . Decking looks great . Don't worry James . But that person will never watch Inbetweeners again . 😫

If you want a good day out, have a look at the National Space Centre in Leicester, its well worth the drive. The boys will love it… James included.
I said it in another video you should build something to cover the BBQ's, drop a few posts into the ground around the deck and get a waterproof shade cloth or get some builders in and build a proper roof. Still expensive but less then builders google Shadowspec umbrellas they are awesome high quality and easy to install shipping will be an arm and leg coming from NZ, you could even scum it up with some fairy lights draped back towards the house perfect to have a few people round for bevies and BBQ.
I reckon you need a path to that deck (make some square frames out of scrap wood slightly smaller then your paving stone, fill with rapid set concrete and tile them and make a stepping stone path) so that even when it's raining you don't get your shoes dirty.

That decking is the perfect place for a hot tub
The decking looks amazing, however I used that same stuff on mine in the same shade and after a while foot traffic left it looking terrible! It scuffed really bad over the course of a year. I know you need to upkeep but its a bit easier with wood shades. Hopefully you have a better experience!
