I just bought a lk -150 about 2 weeks ago and your videos have helped me learn so much! I have already made a sweater and now time for socks! Thank you
When I bought my LK150, the sales woman demonstrated knitting double-faced fabrics like you did, and every now and then she switched the yarn (1 to 2 and 2 to 1, vice versa), so that she could switch the 'main' color at the right side of the fabric. I loved the effect - I forgot about it but your tutorial made me remember. I'm going to give your socks a try :-D
Try! Your machine will not break and you can play with your yarn. Deep breath, and follow the instructions. It will be fine. It will not be perfect and sometimes the knitting can fall off the machine because you didn't move the sled far enough. Just cast on again. Go for it! Your yarn will like it 😊

Thanks. I love hand knitting socks and tried to knit them with my LK 150. I used one strand and the tension was too loose and the stitches dropped so much like you had happen. After I made worsted slippers successfully and the one strand sock, I quit and went to sweaters on the machine and back to hand knitting socks. I'll have to try 2 strands next on the machine.
Love how your socks turned out! Definitely going to use your pattern generator with my SK303. Have you thought about making a pattern generator for fingerless mitts?

Perhaps you said this and I missed it, but to mirror the second sock the short rows for both heel and toe must be done on the left side of the bed. Then both socks will have their seams on the outside of the foot. 👍🤗🧶🪡🧦
Great demo! Was wondering if you'd make a tutorial for a reusable cast-on placket. What are these things called? I know some circular sock knitting machines come with one, or tell you how to make one. I recently saw EngineeringKnits use such a cast-on placket and very smooth scrap yarn and she did not have to cut anything, or much at all.
I made my cast on rags following a tutorial by buttonmouse the wee machine knitter on you tube, she takes you through all the stages of making a cast on rag.
Regia and Opal superwash yarns can both be thrown in the wash on any regular cycles. Also, I'm familiar with Brother 4.5mm standard gauge so I don't know if this applies to the LK150 but Regia and Opal make a DK yarn that might fit better in a mid gauge machine.
Hello. I have a question regarding the side of the toe. Why do you recommend to create the toe on the same side as the heel? I think, if the toe is shaped on the upperside the seam will be on the bottom. Messy seams or color changes will be hidden that way.
As a visual learner, I LOVE your tutorials and the camera angles and clarity. I’ve crocheted for an over a decade but I’m still new to knitting and lk150 world. Would it be likely to see any upcoming intermediate tutorials with patterns featuring cabling or other stitches (like moss stitch for example) on the lk150?
I often make the kitchner stitch loosely so I can see it once the waste yarn is removed and adjust the kitchner stitches so they match better with the surrounding stitches. I think I need to do some practice socks. Thank you for the video.
The thumbnail absolutely reads "Your fist sock," which i don't think is what you meant. Yes, i know there's an R hiding back there but you can't see it!
Best Kitchener stitch demo I’ve ever seen! Thanks
I used a lot sock yarn on the LK. It is a very versatile machine.

I don’t even have an lk150 but I watch all ur videos for this machine, you’re awesome thank youuuu
Me too,😂 i don't even know why , i guess it's relaxing
Always enjoy your enthusiasm. I have learned so much from your vids. For the cast on combs, I put them on backwards. Seems to work well for me.
Always learn something from your videos - thanks for the tips
Just getting started with my USM. Thanks for this new focus!
Thank you so much for showing for the LK 150. ❤ I like watching all your videos. Keep them coming. Thanks again!! 😊
Thank you so much for this!! I’ve had a LK150 for 2years and have been struggling
Danke für das Video. Ich bin noch Anfänger an der Strickmaschine und freue mich über jeden Tipp.
Thank you for the demonstration of beginner patterns. So vey helpful! I would eventually like to aim for fingerless mittens with a simple cable.
Wow! Thanks for such amazing videos. I might just get a machine.
Gerne mehr Anfängervideos. Habe mich noch nicht getraut anzufangen.

Thank you for your tutorial. I was able to see and learn from it. I have been wanting to do some socks.

Although she looks slightly like sigourney weaver, so she might inspire knitters of horror creatures to produce some aliens from the film.

I always kitchener off of waste, much easier to understand.
Thank you
thanks a lot 🥰
Do you save your swatches in a notebook for later reference?
bravo x 2!

Can you knit extra rows to make the socks crew socks? Will it still work with the folded hem or should you do the cuff on the ribber?
Great demo!

@@KnitFactoryImpl Yeah definitely. Of course the stitch count is going to be different. Let me see if I can paste a link here
It's also known as Regia 6-ply
I think I might be missing the link for that amazing yarn winder.
Whoops, forgot to add it. Should be in the description now and you can find it here amzn.to/3CcxkPW

True but the seam may be uncomfortable to walk on especially in a shoe.
But the Kitchener stitch gives a totally flat seam
OBRIGADA PELO VÍDEO 💐
Which machine would do small to mid range yarn?
A standard gauge machine.
@lynnewillette2654 thank you

Cables maybe but not moss stitch, that's faster to do by hand.
