Hellfest from Home in '21 was a trip to watch. Every band they had in their lineup was a streamed-only event thanks to COVID. It's surreal watching the sets on full stage with full production and absolutely NO ONE in the audience.
It's so awesome seeing new people turned on to this band! I discovered them about a year ago through a Pisces reaction video, and they've been my favorite band ever since! You're just getting started, and, trust me, there are no disappointments. This band doesn't have a bad song! Pit of Consciousness Live in Kiev would be a great next step. It's one of the best live performances you're going to find from them, and it's one of my favorite songs
I've also been a musician for decades, but the longer you deal with this band, including the studio work, the more you realize how damn good this band is, by the way, also how they compose their songs, first comes the exclusively instrumental composition, that tati doesn't participate, and then Tati gets the tapes and writes her lyrics on them, which for me is absolutely incomprehensible and at the same time phenomenal.....!!!!!! thanx for your interest in this band and thanx for your reaction! warm greetings from germany
Check out 'Pit of Consciousness' live from Kiev and 'Teacher, Teacher' live from Polandrock :) The second one might be the biggest scene they ever played
Great reaction. Agreed…Tati’s stage presence is unmatched. The energy from their live performances is also unreal. I’d recommend Pit of Consciousness and/or On the Top, both live in Kiev…absolute bangers! More Jinjer please and thank you! 🍻🤘
Great reaction. I love Jinjer, they are easily in my top ten favorite metal bands of all time. I'm not a musician, but even I know how insanely talented they all are. Tatiana gets the most attention and rightfully so, but Eugene (bass), Roman (guitar), and Vlad (drums) are equally phenomenal. I've been fortunate enough to meet and see Jinjer twice (so far) and will see them again in July when they open up for Disturbed. Their concerts are amazing, but what's even more amazing is that all of them are some of the nicest, kindest, most humble human beings, just genuinely nice people who love their fans. I took my older brother to see them, he's a drummer who's been playing for over 45+ years, and he said after seeing them, they are one of the tightest, most talented bands he has ever heard or seen. One last thing, I have Tatiana as my 5th favorite metal singer ever, and I've been listening to Metal music for over 40 years, funny thing is I don't even like "harsh" vocals, still don't really, but Tati is something special. I'm going to recommend a future Jinjer reaction, and that song is Pit of Consciousness live in Kiev/Kyiv, it is fantastic, but then again so is pretty much every Jinjer song, so whatever song you decide to react to, I'm sure you'll love it. Keep up the great reactions, and as always, stay Metal. 🤘🤘🤘🤘🎶🎶🎶
Comment here because you're a Jinjerite I see on all the reactions too, go check out Tati jammin' with some folks at Whiskey A GoGo two days ago -> ruclips.net/video/t1KWJeP53WI/видео.html
Some of my favorite instrumental composition is Who Is Gonna Be The One Live. The song has something close to a guitar solo because it was originally from 2014 when they used more solo-like elements, then was reworked when their rhythm guitarist left. And I love the dueling guitar and bass throughout. As many others have suggested, Pit Of Consciousness live in Kiev (now Kyiv) is epic and incredibly impressive too. Cheers!
Roman has been playing Jackson guitars exclusively for about a year and a half now. Jinjer is one of those incredible and very special bands that only come around once in a generation. BTW, Eugene's main bass influence is Ryan Martinie from Mudvayne and Tatiana first started practicing growling to Mudvayne' tune Dig.
Jinjer is quite possibly better in person than they are in official videos. Tati's stage presence is amazing! You should check out "On the Top" and "Pit of Consciousness" Live in Kiev, they are SPECTACULAR!
I happy to see Jinjer has gained another fan! This amazing band deserves all the the attention they are finally getting. I would highly recommend watching one of Romans guitar play throughs (maybe even do a reaction) Captian Clock or I speak Astronomy would be good choices. Awesome Reaction, Subbed!
I just love people loving Jinjer and it's even better if they're coming from a place of music theory (or sometimes vocal coaching) cos then I always learn something - thank you. Great live recommends in this comment thread, look forward to seeing some of them (subbed)
Love the reaction. I am a 62-year-old guitar player who started off playing Al DiMeola, Alan Holdsworth, I got into Prog and groups like testament. I too was floored when I heard Jinjer. They would actually help me to do was to keep technique within the parameters of the song and not over solo. Jinjer will never disappoint. I alternate between Jinjer , Lorna Shore ( symphonic Deathcore) , and animals as leaders ( instrumentalists) for my heavier listening pleasure. Check them out, I guarantee you’ll be blown away
Great reaction and honestly, what can you really say about the band? It all seems superfluous because they are just THAT good. For live reactions I would suggest Captain clock live at resurrection fest, Pit of consciousness live in Kiev, Who is gonna be the one live (Napalm records), Anything from the Alive in Melbourne (Napalm records), there are so many man. I'm glad you are enjoying this band, they were a revelation to me, I didn't ever listen to anything that had growling in it, ever, and now this.
They did a good job at that gig. They HATED it because of the dead silence between songs. I think I would probably felt the same and I just played the bar circuit where I played plenty of nights in bars where there were three people and two of them worked there. Good live videos would include Captain Clock live at Resurrection Fest (not idea audio but a fantastic performance from Tatiana) ^ Who is Going to be the One live Words of Wisdom live ^ Cloud Factory Official live Ape one shot live Outlander Official live ^ On the Top live in Kyiv Pit of Consciousness live in Kyiv Bad Water live (bass chords galore and great guitar) Any of the Live in Melbourne videos Also there are quite a few guitar, bass and drum playthrough videos you might enjoy from them (videos with asterisks above have really good ones). Maybe in conjunction with one of the above videos.
to address your desire for a lead, check out Jinjer's early stuff when they had another guitarist playing with Roman. Songs like Outlander(live) and lots of bootlegs from both the drummer and the former guitarists are also out there...anything from 2014 and previous. The only issue with going back to then on the live shows is the audio quality is often not great, that and the band isn't anywhere near as skilled as they are now.
Great reaction!! to me tati is the greatest front in metal ever and its not even close!! and I'm a power metal lover not even my favorite genre of metal!
Dorothy, one of the toughest challenges of having a reaction element to your youtube channel is when you land on a total gem like JINJER, but you can't go out and buy their whole catalog and listen to it because future reactions wouldn't be legit reactions anymore :( So I buy the songs I've reacted to on itunes :)
Great reaction! The band just killed it. The guys are so super tight and I consider Tati flat out one the best front people in metal. They performed great at the concert but hated the lack of a crowd and didn't do it again. Didn't show in their performance though.
Check out some old school Jinjer. This specific performance from 2014. Outlander (failure .color) m.ruclips.net/video/XtOYjCkHJak/видео.html They were a 5 piece band back then with an additional guitarist, a different drummer and Tatiana had dreds.

This band does their best work live.
Pit of Consciousness live in Kiev 🤘
One of their best performances playing to their hometown. They were amped up for this show.

Awesome! Thank you Dan!
On the Top also live in Kiev, part of the same concert, is also incredible. Definitely worth checking out both!

@@BTAColorado it's awesome. I still love the bootleg from 2012 uploaded y NosSam though.

I figured someone would fill in that about Mudvayne's influence. :)
1- Who is gonna be the one 2-Captain Clock (Ressurection Fest 2018) 🤘
Jinjer is quite possibly better in person than they are in official videos. Tati's stage presence is amazing! You should check out "On the Top" and "Pit of Consciousness" Live in Kiev, they are SPECTACULAR!
You should definitely check "On The Top" and "Pit of Consciuosness" Live in Kiev. Outstanding!
😵💫 the females voice is awesome. Great reaction :)

I can relate to your background Thomas, loved your post! :)
Keep technique within the parameters of the song and not over solo🤘 .... Sometimes I feel a solo is just empty fillings. Unless you were Dimebag🤔🤘
This entire band is just next level! 😆🤘
You got my sub brother!
Thank you Mike! :)
I think you would love "Who is Gonna be the One" (Live, Napalm Records)
Thanks Jeff, I'll check it out :)

you gonna say that more often from now on.
And that is even a promis!

Good reaction (Subbed)
