I felt so bad for Tatiana at this show, she could not hear for the majority of the set and was visibly pissed off with the monitor tech. I would be surprised if Jinjer plays that festival again. Great Reaction!
I've seen metal drummers that just thrash about and have no groove. This guy can groove! Great comparison to Prog rock (some of my favorite) and this band has really got my attention. Great reaction!
That Alcatraz show was brutal. It's the first time I've seen Tatiana walk off stage to murder the monitor engineer and then set fire to his equipment because she couldn't hear herself. Not something I would ever want to experience. The live version of Cloud Factory is a good one to react to. There is sort of a guitar solo on that song. Written back when they had two guitars but frankly I think that portion of the song works better with one. The original recording had a different kick pattern and a second guitar behind it and it just sounded too busy compared to that live version which breaks down into Vlad and Eugene like a giant machine in the back while Roman does a simple but appropriate solo.
It was the first time they played this song live and I think it shows "Tech difficulties aside" for Tati.. Love the way they just soldier through as the performance definitely gets better as it gets heavier 3/4 the way in..
Vlad the drummer is referred to as the piano player by the rest of the band and there is a clip on you tube that shows him behind the piano playing rachmaninov because he is actually a classical piano player
Hot tip: Jinjer is about to go on tour opening for Disturbed and Breaking Benjamin. They just announced some headlining shows in between the Disturbed shows. That’s your best bet for catching them live. You won’t be disappointed. Roman’s work is almost like a lead throughout the song at times. It sounded like you had an echo on the videos-like maybe two microphones on with slight delay, or computer speakers as well as external speakers. Great reaction though. The guitar and bass playthroughs are excellent as well.
Jinjer always had very very good drummers (and all members have always been top notch) but to bear out what you said, they WERE elevated when Vlad joined (they actually released the RUclips famous version of "Pisces" to highlight what they felt Vlad was bringing to the band). Vlad, as a multi instrumentalist, now writes a lot of their stuff too
I hope you check out the official video for this song on your own. It's a great song, and the audio for this concert was atrocious. A couple other great live ones to check out are Captain Clock live at Resurrection Fest 2018, and Retrospection live in Melbourne.
Another thing if you watch some of their live performances it looks as if he has an I Phone on some sort of a standaard on the left of him but I could be wrong
Tati was having trouble with her in-ears and the production was a mess until the last song of their set here, as you quickly surmised. Not the best live performance of theirs, and not because of the band.
Lol mediator doesn't have a good official live recording...this Alcatraz fest had truly awful audio 😂😂.....official video would have been a better choice here lol.

What I appreciate most about Vlad there are no empty spots but yet no overkill either.
The dude is next level that's for sure! I really appreciate you checking it out and commenting Greg :)
the official video for this song is a lot of fun and worth watching Jinjer puts a lot of creativity and work into their videos

She was so talented she still did a good job, kudos to her!

Thank you!

They are totally amazing!

Thank you Eric, the screen capture software does that sometimes on certain videos.... how are things in South America?
@@YesYouCANPlayGuitar Hi and thanks for responding! Well, I’m not in South America-unless Alabama counts! I think it might…
@@ericpeterson7512 So you aren't the Eric Peterson from Testament?

Pls check Vortex + Vortex bass by Eugine
I'm pretty sure Tatiana said she hated that show as far as audio goes.
Awesome reaction! I'd love to see you react to their song "Wallflower" and then react to Vlad's drum playthrough of the song!!
Another thing if you watch some of their live performances it looks as if he has an I Phone on some sort of a standaard on the left of him but I could be wrong
Trust me, the OMV is *much* more enjoyable than that Alcatraz disaster.
Super reaction!💙💛
Thank you Igor!
I still insist on watching JINJER - A Plus or a Minus (Guitar playthrough) You won't regret it!)
🤘🇺🇦🤘
i only came across these guys last year. interesting band. it's a shame about the sound quality on this
We will do another soon with better sound quality. I hope you are doing well funky!
