Fun fact, it was the other way around, Louis Vuitton copied coach’s original design of the coach cassie, the coach court bag (vintage version of the Cassie). Also, coach retail’s quality is known to be more than good, sometimes even better than those luxury brands that costs 1000s, yes, I would say that the tabby’s are worth your money, it does not cost 1000, and the quality is some of the best
Thank you for teaching me something new regarding the Cassie! I believe you that Coach bags can be very good quality for their price point - especially compared to some luxury brands who don't seem to care about quality that much any more :)
The fun thing about fashion is that there's options for all of us and we don't all have to like the same things! Coach is not appealing to me but I can definitely appreciate it from a distance
It’s ok to not like a brand. I do find it comical that you think MK is better than Coach. Where I live everyone makes fun of MK, and many love Coach. I personally would never consider anything from MK, occasionally Coach has a gem. But MK, no way.
As I said in the video I picked MK when I was 18 as the preferred one (I’m 34 now); I don’t think it was because of quality reasons 😆 I haven’t used any of their bags in maybe 10 years. But as I have owned something from them when younger I couldn’t make this kind of video from MK 😊

It was actually Louis Vuitton that copied the Coach Messenger bag on the outsideOnly difference is that Coach had one opening inside, while the Pochette Métis was created with more. So when Coach updated it’s Messenger bag, they added more pockets like Louis Vuitton. But the the Coach Messenger was the original!

I have a Coach Cassie in the black pebbled leather. This is my everyday day bag. I have my Diors, Prada, Chanel and Hermes bags but just going out to the grocery and running errands my Cassie wins every time. My daughter stopped by the other day and asked if she could borrow it. I gave her my Cassie. I missed it so much that I went and bought myself the Cassie 19 in the black pebbled leather. It has a better top handle so this was a win for me! You know it’s a great bag when you go and repurchase.

As a consumer of both MK and Coach I can definitely tell coach has higher quality in my opinion. Oh and I don’t like the cc logo either I only by leather from them.
Well, when I was buying MK as the age of 18 I don’t think quality was the first priority for me 😆 so I 100% believe that Coach has better quality ☺️

Maybe you prefer spending thousands on mediocre quality bag 😂😂😂 and dear so sad you are not buying coach anymore , you are passing by an amazing quality bags , and moreover coach delivers premium services too , unlike the Vuitton and Gucci. Many of My friends have sold out all their luxurious bags to buy coach bags for a fraction of prices!!!!

You are probably right about the research part but as this was an opinion based video, those might be just that: opinions - which we are all entitled to have😊 as I mentioned in the video I’ve never bought/owned any Coach bags but I have heard that they have good quality but I still have my reasons. I would appreciate not making assumptions on my bag spending habits based on me talking just about Coach. But luckily there’s enough brands in the world so we can all find ones that suit our style!
I think how you feel about Coach is how I feel about Michael Kors 😂 I’ve never been inclined to buy any MK bags at all. Partly because I live in a city called Milton Keynes but it’s known as MK for short. So the MK logo reminds me of my city! Plus MK bags definitely have been inspired by many other brands too, though I guess this is hard to avoid. Thanks for sharing your thoughts Poola! 💖
Yeah I wouldn’t buy any bags from MK anymore but as I’ve been a fan during the age of 16-24 or something I really couldn’t talk about them the same way as Coach 😂 plus back then I wasn’t following luxury fashion so I wouldn’t even have known which bags from MK were ”inspired” 😆 I’m glad that phase is over now!
Hi! I used to purchase Coach but have strayed away for other reasons. I will mention, however the LV Pouchette Métis was created after the Coach Court. The Cassie is only an updated version. Thanks for sharing!

I love Coach bags. I used my Coach beat saddle bag than my high end designer bags. My friends have the Cassie bag,so beautiful and affordable.

I had one MK bag. The leather is heavy, the hardware all pitted and tarnished. I tossed it. I’ve never had to throw out one of my Coach bag.
I haven’t used MK bags in over 10 years so hard to comment what the quality is now. The ones I owned 15 years ago actually wore very well. It’s great to hear that Coach does seem to have good quality items
I am a lover of coach I also restore vintage coach and the leather is exceptional the designer for coach Bonnie Cashin in the 50 and 60 use to also design for Hermes. The bags in luxury you are referring to are also copies of archival coach bags. I have owned Chanel and Louis Vuitton they have stolen designs from coach has well think you should really take a look at the brand again. A well made leather coach bag will last you years. The coach rogue is one of best understate bags from coach. I understand you are not drawn to them but the cost of contemporary brands have also increased as well. I love Mk bags as well but I would not compare them today to the quality of coach. Some 1941 coach bags are even hand stitched you can even go into coach flagship store I’m in New York and have a custom bag made to order 😮 for under a 100 us. Thank you your comment! It's interesting to learn more about Coach and their history. I haven't done much research into the brand because I haven't been that interested before. It's funny how I've built a certain image/opinion of the brand which has kept me away from it so now it's a bit difficult to get more into it. But I'll definitely keep my eyes open especially in the pre-owned market!
This makes sense given your age. Michael Kors as a brand is more contemporary than Coach. Coach has been around for decades, I think 1940’s. And again going back to your age, coach had a serious decline back in the 2000’s with some really awful designs and again given your age MK was really on trend then. So I can see why you don’t like coach. Coach was my entry into luxury…back in the 1990’s and when MK was on trend I was really dipping toes into luxury so I found MK kind of “loud and tacky”. I am still not a huge fan of MK. I still do love coach, but for more sentimental reasons and I tend to like the current coach bags that are a refresh of some of their vintage pieces.

It took me quite a while to start appreciating Coach aswell (probably some similar reasons like you). I still don’t like the canvas but absolutely love some of the leather bags (especially the turquoise Tabby on your thumpnail 😁). At the moment I just own one Coach bag, two bag charms and some jewelry.. but I‘m definitely open for more, if I find the right bag at the right price point 😁

I love Coach, their designs and their quality. Like I'm on the other spectrum woth michael Kors but for a pretty stupid reason. I dont like the mk logo. Too many sharp edges 😂😂😂😂 lame right?😅

I am really interested to know about your opinion about the new coach bandit shoulder bag. Do you think it is worth a shot?
I had to google the bag as I don’t actively follow their bags 😅😅 it has a classic flap bag look especially in the shiny leather and the logo clasp isn’t too in your face. The price in euros is 595€ and if you are into Coach it could be worth it. But as I’m not 🫣 I’d rather put that money into some other brand - depending on the brand you could get a similar classic style in leather with a smaller price point. But I think if you like it then it’s worth it ☺️
Vintage Coach is beautifully crafted and the leather is gorgeous! I have quite a few vintage pieces that I adore, as for the new Coach pieces, I’m not too interested! Great video❣️
I feel that craftmanship with many brands was better with their vintage pieces. So I absolutely can believe that Coach has made wonderful bags previously ☺️
After listening to Cardi B's new song (freestyle), I genuinely wanted to find out if there's a legitimate reason for not wanting to get a coach bag. This is insightful, although I will likely get an item from them if something stands out to me.
It’s just my subjective opinion ☺️ I think if there’s something you like then you should absolutely get it!
I love coach, but I don't follow much higher fashion so I don't know if it's inspired from others. What contemporary brands do have your interests?
Honestly I don’t follow that many contemporary brands but Polene is one of my absolute favourites when it comes to bags in that price point!

MK can be found in junk and discount shops all across my town. Coach, not so much. I do hope RUclips doesn’t continue to recommend videos to me by people so uneducated.
Well if you actually listened to me you’d know that I spoke nothing about quality but only shared my story from when I started buying designer bags (at the age of around 17, I’m now 34). I didn’t promise anything about educating my viewers, just shared my story & opinion. Luckily you have a choice on what videos you actually watch so next time when you find yourself listening to something you find irrelevant/annoying/insert your own negative feeling here, you can just find something else to consume that suits your interests better ☺️
i own coach, ysl, dior, lv and chanel. my favorite coach bag is coach sammy top handle in sakura pink! that color is eye candy good quality leather and that baby pink color is 🔥🔥🔥🔥

I respect the way you think but Coach is a brand really popular and also affordable for many people, perhaps your income is high and you are available to buy brand names that for many people are imposible yo buy them.
Honestly the way I think is luxury bags are waste of money even if you have money to spend on them .
Probably this video is for people that have the income to waste in these items.
I am quiet happy with coach that produce affordable items for every one , and ever happier that they make bags similar or better than other high brands 😀
I don’t know what it is I said that makes you think I wouldn’t buy bags in Coach’s price range. I said that for me there are other brands in the same price range that I prefer over Coach. Everyone doesn’t need to like the same stuff. But I’m happy to hear that you are enjoying the brand!
I don’t own much coach. I did buy the heart bag though. I liked the Chanel one but didn’t want to buy something that expensive to barely use. It proves your point that they make a lot of bags inspired by other designers though. The heart bag feels really great and I actually really love it. It’s not a designer I generally buy for myself but I gift it to friends and family.
I can totally understand the interest towards such a special-shaped bag such as the heart and not wanting to spend the Chanel-budget ☺️
It's nice to hear someone speak openly about not being into a brand. I know how difficult it can be, especially when you don't want to offend anyone. I loved hearing your thoughts! I own a few Coach bags, but I would never pay full price for one. Vintage leather Coach is my favorite! I'm sentimental about the brand because a Coach outlet bag was the first special bag my mom bought for me. I feel the quality isn't what it was despite the prices being significantly higher. Personally, I'm not into the MK or Coach monogram either. It's hard to pinpoint why, but it's just not my jam.

I appreciate Coach as a brand but feel I have grown out of them with my current taste and collection. However, I do really enjoy my Cassie in two different sizes as the other commenter said above.
It’s so great that there’s options for all of us and I can also relate being into a brand previously but then having my style evolve and other brands becoming more me 😊

I have three Coach bags I bought at the outlet. I like them but no way would I buy a Cassie for $600 . I would prefer to put that towards a lv bag.
Outlets are the best! It’s possible to make deals and then save the big money to something else 😆
First of all, the Cassie is not 600, it’s around 300, second of all, you cannot get an lv bag for 600, let alone for 1000.

Coach doesn't really appeal to me either, and I can't really explain why honestly. It's definitely not the quality, but the whole vibe is perhaps too casual and/or youthful? In any case, we're all entitled to our own taste, and I think you went about this video in a very respectful way. 👌

I dont like a purse that is blasting logo/mono. I will purchase expensive leather purse with classic design and no monogram or logo.
My style has shifted to that direction as well within the past years!

I refuse to buy Coach as well, but everyone hear me out lol. I was a teenager in the early 2000s when they were having a MAJOR moment and everyone, everywhere had a Coach bag. Seriously, everyone and their mother (Including me. I had a few.I had this gorgeous blue denim one I loved at the time, but I wouldn't touch with a 10-foot pole now, but I digress). Anyway, it's not that I think it's luxury or non luxury. Coach is in the most expensive mall in my area, I'm sure some bags are a pretty penny/euro. I'm just flat out sick of them! I'll be happy if I never see another Coach again LoL! So I tell people I don't and won't buy Coach.. but then I always feel I have to explain!
I’ve also needed to explain why I’m not the slightest interested in Coach - it’s so far the only brand I have needed to explain myself of 😆 but good to know I’m not alone with my thoughts!
