I love when Steve goes up to the house thinking he's in a rom-com, and then quickly finds out that he's actually in a horror movie.
Season 2 is one of the best season. Noah’s acting skills were astonishing
I’m so glad they gave him the attention his character deserved because he was gone this season
I don't get the hate i always see for season 2. It's prolly my least favorite, but it's still so good and definitely ups the ante of season 1.

I love the little detail of Steve wanting to apologize to Jonathan even after all their fighting and tension during this season. He really stepped up. Nancy did too. And Jonathan. They all did their best.
Poor Will though. He finally comes back from the Upside Down only to still be tormented. He survived a while on his own. That boy has survival skills. Can't wait for S2.

Season 2 is my favorite season and I'm SOOOO excited to see you guys react to it. I love watching new people react to it because they notice different things I've never seen... like the bodies lined up outside the school. I've seen the entire series about 6 times and I've never noticed that!

I try to wait out shows nowadays for that very reason. I've started succession finally since I know it's ending this season. After Breaking Bad broke me with it's torturous cliffhanger finales I decided never again will I watch a show live 😂 I failed that rule with last of us but I've played both games so it's not nearly as painful.

Stranger Things knows how to hurt your heart. The family bonds (all sorts of it, including love stories and friendships) get me like nothing else.
Hopper telling them where Eleven was hiding is part of the deal he made with Brenner at the lab. They gave him & Joyce whatever they needed in order to go find Will and in exchange, he told them where to find Eleven. His main goal was to get Will back alive & since he had no bond with Eleven, he knew he had to basically "trade" one kid for another. Oh and he added the stipulation that they (Brenner/government) would leave the boys & their families alone - no questions asked.
The ending of this season is pretty confusing & leaves a lot of unanswered questions. The reason Hop left food in the forest will be explained in season 2. 🙃

Ah yes, those tiny little cans with the pull top lids filled with ooey-gooey delicious pudding. All of us kids back then learned quickly that you have to be careful when licking the pudding stuck to the underside of the lid, not to slice your tongue or lip on the sharp metal edges - LOL! Banana & chocolate were my two favorites. My dad always bought vanilla or butterscotch for himself. They started switching over to plastic cups around the mid 80's...1984-ish, I think?

Someone may have told you that there is a lot of homage to Stephen King in this series. The Duffer Brothers wanted to direct the IT movies and this series is to show they could have. Even though the movie went with somebody else. In the movie IT, one of the kids uses a slingshot as their weapon.

i think they made the first season as if it was a one off (not really thinking 2 would happen) ... so they ended it kinda of eery for a one season (i would of been fine for just 1...but it was so popular after it dropped that they immediately picked up a 2nd season)

Oh yeah seeing Eleven is in future season messes it up. At the time we didn’t know and the duffer brothers have said Eleven was actually not supposed to come back but due to fan reaction they had her return. This was supposed to be her end. That’s crazy
The entire first season was supposed to be a one-time thing. The rest of the series was originally supposed to be an anthology. Due to popular demand, however, they wrote season 2 and began planning the story out for 5 seasons.
I almost forgot the time when Steve "the babysitter" wasn't awesome. It's going to be fun watching you guys get to love Steve. Can't wait for you 2 start on season 2

Ugh, all four seasons of this show are so good, in their own ways. Personally my favs are 3 and 4, but it’s not like 1 and 2 are anything less than fantastic. I can’t wait for you to start s2. finn, the actor that plays mike, got HARDLY frienzoned by MBB, the actress that plays eleven, in real time, during the first BUILD interview as well. u can see him go through a range of emotions. embarrassed and red all over the face, to sad and depressed as the interview plays. god, poor babyboy. im glad he's the shit now and she's... well, another suburban rich white girl.
Perhaps some day you'll end up loving Steve as much as the rest of us, in spite of this rough beginning. I think his arc reminds us all that life is an opportunity to grow and do better.
