I come back to this video every few months. I don't even listen to a lot of Baroque music, but I love this intensely. It's filled with so much joy, I never get tired of hearing it. I wish that so many people didn't have negative associations with Baroque and classical music, like thinking it's boring, or it reminds them of church, etc. I wish it were easier for people to feel/hear the beauty in stuff like this, instead of just slapping a label on it and moving on.

What a jewell of a piece and what breathtaking performance! The industry complains about downloading but the truth is that music and artists that almost never made it to the airwaves and reached stores even less is getting exposure. I never heard of anyone (composer or otherwise) involved with this until ten minutes ago. I'm glad to have gotten a look at this.
This song is reminiscent of so many other Baroque tunes, particularly Zefiro Torne, but for some reason, for some this song and the consort's renditon utterly capitivated me to the point I had to leave a comment.

This argues Cazzati to be the most under-recognized composer next to Allesandro Scarlatti. That this piece has created comments from 19=22 year old electronics students, is a testament to it's timelessness upon aeons. Okay, so that's a little overboard, but it is really good and cool music!
