On manifested timeways if you stand still when chrono goes off, you don't take any damage if you have the debuff. But since I tried fire out in fated shadowlands, I just cannot figure this damn spec out. Do you spam flamestrike? Pyroblast? How do you know when to use one and not the other? Living bomb and meteor before combustion? You cast scorch more than fireball isn't that just way less damage above 35%? Obviously single target is only Pyroblast. Hardcasting flamestrike feels so bad after insta casting for like 10 seconds. I don't know. I'm just trying to get a grasp on this. Do I need to make a weakaura for the flamestrike debuff to know when to recast? Is flamestrike always better on 2+? I'm looking at the top warcraft logs guy for everbloom and he only cast flamestrike 3 times the whole run. Just spammed pyro. The next guy I can see casts for didn't cast flamestrike once, living bomb 28 times and just pyro.
Yeah i just keep forgetting that :D Flamestrike in aoe IF you are in flamestrike build. Pyro in st (or in aoe if you`re in ignite build). I scorch a lot either cause i`m moving or to execute mobs. But also in combustion without lust for douple pyros. AND i do when i should be fireball fishing, just cause it has become a bad habit.
Don`t know what u mean with "weakaura for the flamestrike debuff": And flamestrike is usually better on 5+ targets. But i just send it on 3+ when there is no prio target.

I meant a weak aura tracking the movement slow knowing when the flame strike is going to fall off but it means nothing cause you’d spam flamestrike I guess. So ignite build is really just single target and it spreads ignite via pyro and fire blast?

Key level/trash time alive matters more than only trinkets, especially for ignite build. Blood/branch seems to be the top pick for ignite build by the best mages on rio. Don’t have blood myself tho

Yeah i just cursor macro: #showtooltip /cast [@cursor] Meteor (or flamestrike) Scorching a lot is just a bad personal habit, try only doing it whilst you are moving.
You can scorch faster than u can fireball with crit strike procs, and with Combust. If you have VERY high haste casting fireballs at .7-.9 you can do that instead, but casting scorch at a .5-.7 is faster than a 1.2-1.5 fireball, doing more ST/DMG.

OR if mobs are below 30% hp, there u always scorch for HU procs

When u have one heating up (in combust) u can scorch-ib-2x fs. Swap scorch with fireball if ur in lust
