Great video, i play frost mage myself and was wondering is fire better than frost rn(on keys higher than +20)
Depends on so many things. Key level/your groups dps/how well you play the spec compared to frost. Just try fire too and see how its goes :)

It’s just big mob st prio dmg. Spam pyros til’ u puke😅 Sucks if there are several huge pulls with low hp mobs/or ur other dps pumps «too much». Then flamestrike shines overall.
you can cast a non-instant cast pyroblast while moving? Or am I seeing things?
Ice Floes
Swap out shimmer with ice floes in mage class tree. Ice floes makes the next non-instant spell, castable while moving☺️
If I’m only doing 15-20 range keys right now, is fire still viable with how fast most things die?
Its really good, i would suggest flamestrike build instead of this in lower keys tho

Hi! By any chance you can link your weakauras? Been learning fire mage and you’ve been inspiring me to keep going and push keys on my mage!
Which wa’s? (Limited pc access cuz christmas, so can’t guarantee any links atm)
For dungeons i use merees s3 df wa.
The mage wa is standard «afenar mage».
Means a lot, i’m kinda still learning myself as i’m new to high keys. Fire mage is a lot of fun!

When is the proper time to use Scorch besides when the target is below 30%
In combust outside of lust for double pyros. If u just solo spam fireblast/pf ur gonna run out of resources.
And if you’re moving and don’t have floes charge:
The extra scorching i do is just a bad habit.

Dmg wise it seems like its not close
It shouldve been closer. I just died 5 times= losing several combusts. Yeah idk noone at top level does it, so there’s prob a decent reason to why not.
This build works without aug ?
It does. But aug helps with dmg, and survivability
Are you playing fire starter ?
No, intensifying flame for more dmg on boss/3 targets. The pulls are big/long enough that i have combust up on most.
Why fire mage low damage?
Me dying several times has a great impact on overall. And i’m new to high keys, so still learning in several aspects☺️

I'm sure you're playing the class well, so not a comment related to your skill. Isn't it sad that the DH is kicking your butt even after 2 nerfs? This can be seen on almost all these mage pov videos.
Well the pulls in AD are not big enough for mage to compete with an equally skilled DH.
I did however die 4 times during fights which lowered my dps a ton.
