you can add a frequency shifter just after the vocoder to give the loop a nice random seq !
8:52 "wtf" lol that's me every day
😂😂😂
Great video! Getting some really cool results with this technique. Thank you!
This is sick, cant wait to get home and try it out
dude finally some quality tutorial, great vibe on this track

Thank you mate, glad it helped 😊
I luv u dude! 🤍 Thnks a lot
I would really love a tutorial from u when you go deep down in how you work with drums, wich sort of drums loops, samples, rhythms to look for for ur kind of musik. I really really like ur work on drums in the tracks. I will start put in the hours to mess around with it.
Maestro ♡

Bomb
Sweely‘s my favourite producer at the time. I already tryed this technique from his masterclass.. cool shit. I used the subtitles to understand it. Thx for going into detail!
same! really appreciate this dissection.
Hey man, that good channel helps me a lot I would like you to make an Adryiano "Dream Witch" drum would be very cool
thanks a lot man, I tried to decipher that video a few months back but there was lots of missing pieces and I just moved on.
The track is so dope lol
Any chance you can go over this track in a vid??
@@AdnanAlsannaa i don't think so..this is just an example track, so i don't think i'll finish it :)
thanks
guarda quanti like che fai fraaaaa!! grandissimo
@@mttlsa686 sisì lo so. Conosco il ragazzo 😁 è molto bravo e competere, se lo merita!
Hey man! Great video as usual. Question: How do you make that bass sound on operator at the end of the video? Thanks a lot and keep up with the good work.
It's just a sine wave 😉
instead of applying the grain delay directly to the track, i think its better to apply it through a return track, at least thats how sweely does in his master class.
at the end of the day its just a matter of preference i guess.
You could also put auto filter and vocoder on return if you wanted to allow the dry signal to bypass the filter
Could you do a tutorial on chords and pads?
It's a nice idea, as soon as i find some good example to showcase i'll do it 🙃
distilled noise Chris Stussy type chords and stabs!
@@projectrated6271 second this 1000%
Everyday i love this channel a little more... love the kind of music and the tips... could you make it darker? Like the style of little helpers records? That groovy dark minimal with low basses and glitchy percussions...
Thanks buddy i appreciate! On the channel i try to share the style that i like and i produce, not into tutorials about every genre of minimal, but think that what a tell can be applied to every kind of mininal music, just adapting it a little bit
@@distillednoise for sure its just because i want to see if you have some tip for that kind of minimal, like vocals or textures... anyway i like your style too! You're making a really really good job!
Thanks for the video, so great! I've been wondering, what Samsung screen do you use?
Thaks! It's really old..i don't know the model i'm sorry 😔
Awesome tutorial mate, just wondering, when I put the vocoder on my drums, the sound coming out of the channel doesn't really change that much, the drums just seem muffled, would you know why? (drums are in a midi channel...)
Depends on the source sound and on how you set the vocoder!
Not sure if I missed it or if you forgot to mention, but don't forget to mute the track that operator is on people! :)
Hi bro! Thanks for the video!
I was wondering were did you get thoses percussion groove samples ?
Cheers
I honestly don't remember 😅 should be some little helpers sample pack or the East end dubs pack!
Sounds Great Bro! Did you make any mastering on this video sound? or just ave it how it is? Sounds complete )
No master :) also i never finished the track cause it was just an example :)
Dowland samplers?🙂🙂 saludos desde España Asturias.
Good content my man. Would you go for a Behringer Deepmind 6 for minimal house style?
I am all in the box :)
wow that track wass
thanks dude , could you share the PC specs, please
Just a quick question. Which headphones are you using? Im looking to buy the Beyerdynamic Dt-770 pro, but im in doubt.
I'm using Sennheiser hd 380 pro but they are discontinued now. You should find the nex generation model i don't remember the name
@@distillednoise How many ohms does your headphone have?
Where did you get those monitor stands my dude? :) they look nice
Isoacoustics monitor stands..you find them on many musical instruments stores
it works well to use max 4 live lfo to modualte the wet/dry of the grain delay/
Ahah true!! I was trying yesterday to do that!
I'm doing all the steps exact the same but why is the operator signal coming through the drumbreak channel? thanks for helping
Did you switch of the operator channel? Or maybe have a look on the dry/wet parameter or the other parameters of the vocoder
how do you make the link of velocity and Osc level?? Thanks man, good tutorial!!
It’s in the synth options
Instant Villalobos vibes
nifty
I put the operator settings and I don’t get the sound you get at 2:20 ; why? And same note C1
depends on the FM algorythm you are using. Look at the 4 coloured squares on the right (next to time, tone, volume). Operator A, B, C, D must be in series not in parallel!
great technique man, can I ask what headphones you're using?
Hey man! I'm using Sennheiser HD 380 Pro but they are discontinued now!
@@distillednoise Thank you! Ah that's interesting, I'll see if I can find any deals now with Black Friday coming up. Also looking at audio technica m50x. Cheers for the heads up!
Could you make a video on connecting BSP to Live and show your workflow?:)
I have it, look through the channel :)
The plugins are all natives of Ableton live?? Great video, so usefull
Yes in this one yes!! Thank you!
hey man! Thanks a lot for the lesson. I have one question though: maybe I'm doing something wrong but why the sound I get from the perc loop after vocoding it, is actually a lot like the operator sound? turning the vocoder on is just giving me an almost idetnical sound as the operator already has. As far as I'm aware, i did everything exactly the way you presented :(
Mmmm i don't know. Did you switch off the operator channel? Hard to tell here man!
@UCsguKm5r0vjdzeP-jRUTFPg be sure all the parameters are the same..maybe change te sound of the operator or of the loop..hard to help from here, i'm sorry
same thing happening to me :(
you can us any plugin! or any audio source for that matter, try using your voice even.
Where can I get the pack for the loops you are using specifically here?
Raw loops: romanian underground
distilled noise you are a legend! Do you have a an ableton rack for this?
How many samples are in the pack?
In my pack? I think around 400 samples
Does anyone know how to achieve this on logic pro x?
No idea my friend!
What software is that
Ableton Live 10
Very interesting advice man, good stuff! Might I ask you what samplepacks the loops you are using are from? Cheers
Mmm not sure man! I think they are Little Helpers pack but was long time ago and I don't remember
@@distillednoise Hey Buddy, thanks a lot for the answer! I guess the actual pack ist not that relevant. But I kinda struggle filtering what to purchase since _a lot_ (if not all of at least what I have come across) contained a substantial amout of junk and really not a lot of actually usable stuff. For example there are a lot of loops that are put together in a way that sounds or grooves I would like are not really separable anymore because they layer too much with other sounds.
It's also quite difficult to know before buying since the common portals usually offer demo loops but it's not possible to have an extensive listen to what you're about to purchase. Do you have any tips on how to differentiate or are there any common labels who tend to release suitable stuff?
Anyway, thanks a lot for the good content, keep it up ;)
Cheers from Germany
@DelasVC hey friend I feel you! My packs are made infact with basic loops so that you can use them without being stuck with a too complicate loop. I can also suggest Loopcloud, a portal where you can listen to every single loop and buy only the ones you like :)
@@distillednoise Yeah, that can be super annoying when you realize you just spent 30 bugs on something you will most likely never use..
I wasn't aware you we're also producing your own samplepacks, definitely gonna check em out! Thx for your help buddy, much appreciated :)!
@@DelasVC Yes I do! And my packs are not 30 bucks but way less :)
Find them here: distillednoise.com/samples-more/
does anyone know how to do this on logic? sorry :(
There is a vocoder in logic aswell so i'm pretty sure you can do it 😊
Can I ask how to link the velocity to the operator’s parameter? 🙏🏻
When you see something like osc>vel or things like this it means that you are mapping the velocity to a parameter 😊
@@distillednoise thank you very much. I thought I had to create a rack or something like that. Btw, very helpful video :)
Però la prossima volta ci parliamo in italiano 😉
@@Test..00 ahah porca miseria 😂 ti spegavo anche meglio forse in italiano 😅😅
Another great technique kids:
Find your own techniques , you will never sound like sweely but like a copy of him.
Experiment and do your own crazy unconventional production.
how about blending your favorite techinics from diferent producers into YOUR track? :) with your own style and flavour... learning a good technique dossent mean trying to sound like somebody!
you think sweely is the first? hahah
@@diegopalomarelectronicmusic its not about to try , its the consequence ..
Something about an open door.... and hitting it
What a nonsense mate... how did you learn taking? Exactly... after you copied your parents. Then you started to improvise. Stop these idiotic comments,
the track is so sick please finish it and send it to me ;)
when will you release this track?
Never finished this track 😅 it was only for the video purpose
@@distillednoise Send the stems, ill finish it 🤙🏼
@@neondotsmusic good idea..i could share it on the fb group :)
@@distillednoise Let me know!
For those who are in FL Studio, like me, you can do this by routing your 3xosc (operator) to the mixer, put a peak controler effect on it's channel and link the vocoder (vocoder must be affecting the loop channel) parameters that you want to the peak controller. I must say that the results won't be the same because FL's vocoder (i am still in 11th version) is shit.
hahaha ho pensato, madonna the north face..... strano ma bel sponsor hahahaha
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Can this be done in logic? Lol
I don't know, but i think yes!

8 gb of ram
Intel hd graphics 4000 (integrated in the cpu)
