What's interesting is that even though one might be familiar with the concepts, it takes a good tutorial like yours to really tie things together and really get a feel for the genre. Like.. the difference between knowing and understanding, y'know?
Soo, was watching this vid, for fun, catching up to his older stuff and hearing he was playing Ferro - Endresonic. Cool, nice track. then I had this need to watch DanceTelevision's broadcast of Primiesku's Hypnotic School Barcelona set. Guess what track was their intro,? Ferro Endresonic! Life is weird.
hi...loving u'r tutorials .. i think i have an ideea for a tutorial for you to make .. let's say i have a drum loop , a bass line , synth and everything i need to make a track...but when i try to make a finished product it kind of sounds boring ... i mean it kind of sounds like a loop than a track...how to construct a track how to make it more dynamic ? thank.s and keep up the good work
Hey man! Nice idea! that's an issue that I have as well! sometimes we overthink and if you listen to big producers' track they are not that complicated, sometimes it's true and our tracks are boring :) I'll try to think about something for the next video :)
Sei fantastico distilled noise!
awesome taste. we need more producer content with good taste ;) about the video: man i love the low end on this track + the percussions. that rolling groove is also key to microhouse
So useful, thank you :) If you ever have time... Would be awesome to know how to get some basic minimal sounds (bass, chords,...) from the Operator ! thanks again
Thanks Oscar! You are making my day by saying that! I'm actually in the process of recording a video about bass but it's taking way longer than i thought! Hope to finish it in a couple of weeks!
Amazing tutorial, thanks to you. Where do you find theses samples ? That's my main problem ! Maybe you could do one day a video about it and how to edit it ? Thanks a lot !
hey thank you for your awsome videos keep it going !:)) im struggeling a lot to find the right samples do you can recommend a sample side or where do you get your samples from ?
Hey man, great video ! About groove, does it affect all the insturments, or only your hi hat ? how to apply it only on one instrument in your drum rack ? Thank you !
Hey mate! It affects all the instruments in your drum rack. If you want it affect only one sound you can press "commit" so the notes moves to the actual position in which the groove virtually moves them. After that you can move all the notes to grid position and leave in the "groovy position" only the beats that you want to have the groove. Try to use the commit command and you will understand for shure what i mean 😊
@@distillednoise you can modulate gate and velocity on the fly per step, create swing and maybe probability and randomness (less usable on the drums side, more on the synth side). I find its workflow way better and faster than mouse and keyboard.
on the left menu "Packs" -> "Core Library" -> "Grooves". If you don't have them you can download third party grooves like "Grooves from Mars" and put them in any folder you want and then just locate it from ableton :)
Hi man! I have many sample packs with this kind of noises inside. At the moment for the samples I'm using only the Splice Platform..so you can check there (I don't know other sources at the moment)! Reach me on Instagram so I can send you some sample eventually ;)
no mate, i also use samples because sometimes I need a different kick from the one you have on Plaits! That's why I would hardly buy a drum machine like the drum brute...too little sound possibilities
I suggest not to use different grooves. they can sound unpleasant since notes/beats are sshifted from the grid in different ways an so it would look like instruments are not following the beats.

Hey man, what are those speakers? I'm thinking of buying new ones for my room and the ones you have look amazing!
Hey man! KRK Rokit 5. Now you find a newer model than mine, which is like 5 or 6 years old ;)
Thanks! Great channel btw, keep it up!

Which mpc swing / groove setting is applied here? Good work mate!
70 double down..not remembering the exact name but i say it in the video

Classy tutorial think you
How can i listen to all 3 tracks at the same time with Ableton and Beatstep pro?
You have to assign to 3 different midi channels and arm the record on Ableton on those 3 tracks
really helpful :)
and now add the bass-line, please :D
Where can we install those samplers? Thanks a lot
What's with the beatstep pro? You have it but still use mouse...
I used to use it with modulars when i work in the box i fon’t feel the need to
@@distillednoise you can modulate gate and velocity on the fly per step, create swing and maybe probability and randomness (less usable on the drums side, more on the synth side). I find its workflow way better and faster than mouse and keyboard.
make a video of acid sound!
get a td 3. it's really cheap
how can I add the grooves ? I can't find that option in my version of ableton !

nice
HI man, could you tell me where you got the vinyl background samples from? cheers!

do you do your kicks everytime with plaits or do you use samples also?
no mate, i also use samples because sometimes I need a different kick from the one you have on Plaits! That's why I would hardly buy a drum machine like the drum brute...too little sound possibilities
Oh thank you very much :) Do mean because you layer the kicks or do you mean just for different sounds ? :)
I think about to buy a Jomox Mbase11 just for Kicks what do you think? :)
@@patrick1206 I mean just to have different sounds..because sometimes I need a fat kick, sometimes a minimal kick etcetera
@@patrick1206I don't know this module I'll take a look later :)
Ma parla come ca te magni🤣🤣
Useful stuff , thanks :D
What do you think about different grooves on different instruments? Yay or nay?
I suggest not to use different grooves. they can sound unpleasant since notes/beats are sshifted from the grid in different ways an so it would look like instruments are not following the beats.
