The 4 categories of heating appliance ventilation are made up of different variations of positive and negative pressure as well as whether the machine is Condensing or Non-condensing. I break down what this means in the video.
Centrotherm Innoflue polypropylene Single Wall (SW), Flex and Concentric vent pipe, fittings and accessories for residential & commercial natural gas and propane-fired boilers, water heaters and furnaces. UL 1738 listed and approved for Category IV (power vented, condensing) appliances.
Z-flex brand stainless steel venting pipe, fittings and parts - approved for for installation with Category III (non-condensing, power-vented) and Category IV (condensing, power-vented) gas fired appliances. Recommended for Takagi tankless water heaters.
Note: Z-Vent series will be gradually transitioned to NovaVent. These use a different steel alloy, but meet the same high quality standards set by Z-Flex and are also UL 1738 listed.
