Amazing piano virtuoso Igor Levit! We were lucky to be in the audience @ our wonderful Walt Disney Concert Hall when he was playing George Gershwin: Concerto in 2023 and in 2022 -Ludwig van Beethoven: Piano Concerto No. 3 with Los Angeles Philharmonic under the baton off Elim Chan. Unforgettable both concerts!

Reasons why you’re not as good:
edit: this is merely meant for improvement, not hate to anyone**
    1. Lack of musical understanding
    2. Not enough practice
    3. Not good enough piano
    4. You’re “fatigued” from playing this piece
    Here are tips to improve:
    1. Practice EFFECTIVELY (you know how to hopefully, and it not, tutorials exist)
    2. Watch masterclasses (it can help with musical understanding)
    3. Listen to professionals like Levit and Pletnev (they are the best available for Waldstein)
    4. Try practicing under pressure (this typically removes the sense of “fatigue” typically of the mind, and the sense of nervousness is important to practice tackling)
    5. Visit places that allow practice on good pianos (my high school had two steinways, the piano stores may allow some practice, piano teachers)
I hope this helped. It’s extremely difficult to match the quality of Levit and Pletnev; they are professionals after all. Bravo Levit👏🏼👏🏼
