We are comparing a disposable product to a refined timepiece. Apple and oranges lol
I get your point, but you are able to dispose of $300 and $400 watches. What am I doing wrong in life? Lol!!!
Chronograph and tachometer handmade watches( which are the first smart analogue watches) V printed by a computer put together with tiny screws in a factory by hundreds of staff... no competition...

An Apple watch is more utilitarian, but it will be in a landfill before a Rolex even needs its first maintenance. With maintenance the Rolex will still be ticking 50+ years from now. Apple Watches are disposable.
I say in terms of functionality Apple Watch is better. But longevity no, Rolexes are still around that were made in 1950s. Apple watch 1st gen are useless now.
Longevity isn't really worth it to me. I'd rather replace something that does everything every couple years than hold onto something that can only do one thing for my entire life.
You can get an Apple watch at a garage sale.
You are not going to find a Rolex at one.
Only a m0ronic Apple fanatic would say anything like that, and think they dont sound insane.

Yeah guys, the Rolex will last forever. But it is just a watch. That's all it does. It's lame. The smartwatches are capable of tremendous connectivity and usefulness. A shorter lifespan is just a cost of progress.
Not everyone wants or needs a smart watch. The watch was designed to tell the time and that's all some people want. The battery also lasts ages, which is another benefit.
