I love these so much. Thanks for giving the riders height and frame size. It saved me from having to hopefully eagle eye the frame size and then take a trip to Wikipedia for the rider stats, which is what I have been doing. Keep doing that please. 👍
Actual frame size depends a lot on physiology parameters, not only on height. I'm 186 cm, but my inseam height is effin 94 cm (ostrich legs, yeah). It's such a torment to find myself a suitable frame, when L is too small because of height and XL is too big in reach. But thanks GCN for giving us more parameters for the rider as well. It's really informative, keep going!
Love a pro bike and if its a red bike then its gonna be a special one! Never been a huge fan of Trek because of previous associations but this is a very cool looking bike and those centre pull brakes are quite the throwback. Would love to see a bit of a more in depth view of them one day! Maybe another video perhaps?! Thanks for another cool one! Keep em coming!
I like the curved top tube and I like that bike. Thanks for showing it to us, Jon. And I hope the fans of buzzy freehubs were wearing their headphones so they could enjoy the buzz. Still not a fan myself but I like buzzy two-stroke motocrossers, so same thing, really.
So is that Trek's H1 or H2 geometry? I have the H1 Domane in a 56cm frame and I'm 6'-0" so that really is a small frame for a guy who is 6'-2". By the way the H1 geometry is the same for Emonda, Madone and Domane. Same dimensions, different styles.
Small thing but may cause some confusion, This isn't a SLR, its a RSL "Race Shop Limited" Model. Theres no such thing as a SLR Madone, just H1 geometry or H2 geometry.

And wow. That’s a full size smaller than what treks size chart on their website recommends. And by a lot.

Worth remembering this is a race shop limited model too
If that hub sounds familiar, it's because bontrager use DT Swiss 240 internals
This has the sexiest freewheel sound of all bikes on GCN tech!!
Brijraj Agarwal
, sexiest? That is so weird, do you get aroused when freewheeling while riding?
David W don't you?

Mmm not unlike my madone but h2 geometry and ultegra machanical. Seeing these bikes made me spend out and get my dream bike, it's awesome 👍👍👍
thanks for the comparison with rider height and frame size, just what i was looking for
The video white balance seemed inconsistent. In some scenes the frame looks red. In others it looks orange.

Glad you enjoyed taking a look at Ryan Mullen's bike!
Jon! I don't know what to say. Trek is MY FAVOURITE brand. OMG!

No custom bike for a national champ? That sucks.
Should have some custom paint no?
Any one does international sales?
The longer I listen to those freehubs, the more I realise that three sole purpose of this sound it's to make the rider never to coast.... Never. Ever.
"I'd like to get my hands on a pair of them" steady on old boy, I'll be putting bromide in your tea.
Mr Shax please don't.
Beautiful bike, but I would have liked to see some acknowledgment of him being the Irish camp.
Did Contador’s personal mechanic retire or who does he work for now?

Aaron David 🍟?
Jon Cannings, yes please. With catch up!
58 size not 56
Jesus that bike would fit me and I'm 5' 11''. Stems 15mm too short tho.
Mullen could do with a 0 offset seatpost.
OH IT'S REAL GOOD
It is!
No National Colors for Irish Champ .......:-(
Damn. That's a tiny bike for someone 6"2'
Einhander49 : I was thinking the same thing.
