How to Add MACD Indicator on Tradingview

  • In this video, I will show you how to add the mac d indicator on Tradingview.
    First, you need to login to your account. Then, you want to head to the top side and look for “Indicator”.
    A search menu will pop up.
    Type in “M A C D”.
    There will be many different options, but the official one is the Moving Average Convergence Divergence. Click on it and the MAC D indicator will be added.
    Now close the indicator menu.
    The default settings on the MAC D fast length is 12 and the slow length is 26. You can tweak it by clicking on the settings icon here.
    Feel free to change EMA or color settings in the style section if needed.
    Once you are done, make sure to go to the top right corner on the “My Setup” area, click on it to save the new settings or toggle autosave.
    This will prevent you from losing any new changes you made.
