Really liked the interview, smooth, down to earth and interesting. I actually learned about Erika’s band when I bought my recent Oris Okavango, which comes with one of her designs. Loving it by the way, easy to wear and good looking.
I like the straps, but when you're charging people €80 for a sewn elastic strap and some stainless steel you're just ripping people off plain and simple. I'm not surprised to see Erika's background is in advertising and marketing.
I agree that they are crazy expensive but no one is forcing you to purchase them. She is ripping off no one. And her background is irrelevant if the straps are well made and of material quality.

I hear what you’re saying, but percentage wise I’d not be surprised if there’s more margin than that in some of the more pricier watches in our world
