    I heard that for the filming of Halloween, the house they used for the Myers family home just happened to be derelict at the time of filming. Most of the filming was carried out in it's dilapidated state and then it was refurbished for the opening scene. I've got various Michael Myers masks that I have collected over the past two years and they're definitely my favourites. You've got a really impressive showcase, I'm so glad to have been introduced to your channel.

    • @jameslivingstone8267
      @jameslivingstone8267 Год назад

      @@Dan_Does Yeah, the film was made in Spring time so they had to get a lot of dead leaves scattered around the neighbourhood to make it look like Autumn. The local kids were able to have two Halloweens that year. Something interesting about the film location, it’s set in the fictional town of Haddonfield, Illinois. However it’s actually filmed in Los Angeles, California. There’s various street scenes which have palm trees lining the pavements/ sidewalk, which is apparently a telltale sign of California rather than Illinois.

    Those are very nice builds, they are very cool! ... About your Ghoul varnish issue, may I suggest that you take 400-600 or 800 grid sand papers and gently try to remove the varnish coat without removing any paint. Once done you can wash it with warm soapy water and rinse it in warm water then let it dry for a few days and re-varnish it. That will be a way to save it! :) ...I specially like your build they are very cool, you mention that you would like to use them for 28 scale wargaming, did you know that there's a game call Don't look back and it's a slasher game inspired by the 80's horror movies? It's made by Black Site Studio! :) Cheers!

    Did you know that in 1999, there was a remake of Psycho starring Vince Vaughn as Norman Bates? I only found out about it a few years ago. Usually remakes are meant to be an improvement on what came before it, but they literally copied everything about the original film, which is why it’s generally regarded as one of the most pointless remakes ever made.
