All 3 songs they've released do sound a little low quality and muffled though for sure. It's a little strange, every time i die's from parts unknown was also mixed the same way. Songs are great though.
Been listening to these guys since 2004. I’m so glad they are finally getting the recognition they deserve even after quitting and coming back. They are absolutely crushing it. This song says it all! Especially it being the first version of young cardinals and Steele writing the lyrics for this. I’ve had this song on repeat in the truck for sure haha
I thought the 1st track that they released since coming back reminded me a lot of the band Red Fang. It didn't necessarily sound like Alexisonfire though
Fully agree, this is definitely the best track they released since they reformed in my opinion. Sweet dreams of otherness was cool, but quite different for them, this sounds a bit closer to their roots, but still fresh.
Alexisonfire is from my hometown and we share quite a few friends. They are a great bunch of dudes One of my favorite things about the group is that they have no front man. Dallas, George and Wade are all equally prevenlent and amazing. In fact, if you ask the band they would tell you that ass player Chris Steele is theri front man
If you would like to react to an artist you might not have heard of before, I recommend Aesthetic Perfection with Gods & Gold. Richard Z Kruspe from Rammstein is featured
I'm totally disappointed in the quality of this album. Everything is very muddy and all the vocals are buried so far in the mix you can barely make out what George is saying.
Same here. It's been a huge distraction for me. The tracks themselves are great, but I think the levels are so high that it clips, similar to what Rick Rubin is known for (see loudness war).
@@cdubcow they likely didn't mix the album. They had someone do it for them. No one said the music is shitty. Is it not ok for a fan to be disappointed after how long we've had to wait for new music?
We have had a terrible time getting any views or interactions for the last like year or 2. So thank you to everyone watching and liking.
Finally a reaction for this banger from a criminally underrated band. Keep it coming!
Thank you! Hope you liked it
can't believe how little views they have on their official channel
This definitely sounds amazing. People need to quit crying about the mix. C'mon folks, just be happy Alexisonfire is making new music!
Agreed

It’s a full new album and it’s coming on the 24th of June :)
Thanks for the info dude. I'm very excited
So good to see them back. Dallas is so good in the Chorus. Didn't like the first track that much, but this one is pure gold!

Thoughts on the new record? I've had it spinning non-stop bro, Reverse is a highlight but the whole album is incredible
I like like 80% of it. I don't dislike anything though. I love what I like and I'm just okay with with the other stuff. I give it A-
Have you heard decapitated baby cow? The riffs are beefy.
nice reaction bro
Thanks! I'm trying to find more time to do these while i also do all my other projects and it's hard. But this one needed a video

As great as "Sweet Dreams Of Otherness" is, this is even better IMHO. Way more of an ear worm.

Your comment is totally disappointing. Shit rips hard. Go make your own album and do it better?
@@cdubcow You haven't a clue as to what I'm talking about, obviously. That's okay, do your homework and get back to me
