    I’m half way through my treatment and have learned about potential of gum receding and started being worried. Going to check with my orthodontist. But thank you for the informative videos!

    Thanks for your videos! I've only had Invisalign for 5 week's. I have 2 implants and a crown over a root canal tooth. So far so good...but we are only 5 weeks in 🤷🏽‍♀️ Your teeth look Great!

    I finally pulled the trigger on clear aligners after the bi-yearly cleaning this morning. My insurance will be covering 50% of the cost so that was way better than 4-5 years ago when I was first recommended by my dentist about braces which I had to pay almost 100% of the cost. This time, my dentist recommended clear aligners because I have a crown since braces won't adhere well to crowns. I'm looking forward to see how it goes if/when approval goes through.

    Your videos have been so helpful. I am looking at getting this done as I have one slightly crooked tooth on the bottom front that is hitting the back of my front top tooth (due to nighttime clenching) and it is causing so much pain and sensitivity. I want to get this asap to relieve the pain, but I am so scared. I am a stress head and like to know everything. I am also really worried about gum recession and my bite. I don’t want TMJ issues in the future.

      Same issue with the bottom tooth. Not pain but jaw stress

    I had an initial 24/35 and the teeth looked much better. Then they scanned and I’m up for another 31 trays! 😅 oh well, every new day is one day down.

    Started my first tray today. It keeps cutting my mouth.

    Sid you pay additional fees for refinements or is that included in the initial plan cost?

    • @EmmaSandy

      I paid a bit more upfront. I was offered a cheaper 'lite' package (set time and no refinements) or a 'full' package (can do refinements). I took the full package just in case & glad I did.

    Did you have to pay extra for refinements???

    • @EmmaSandy

      Right at the very start I paid for a full package that included refinements. The other option was 'Invisalign Lite' that was cheaper but I didn't pick. So yes I guess I did pay more!

    Did you have to use rubber bands to fix your bite?

    • @EmmaSandy
      @EmmaSandy  6 месяцев назад

      I didn't have any rubber bands. For refinements to sort my bite I just got the 'power ridges' back and new attachments! And at the start I had 'power ridges' and 'bite block' (behind my front teeth to stop my overbite closing).
