    The AI rendering of the "Stride" based off NEOM City is stunning and beautiful. Other scenes also very well composed. The first person shooter scenes were more like xbox gaming but acceptable.

      Hahaha thanks, glad you caught that! Honestly, I was surprised that AI could produce even those action scenes with its current state. That was the hardest thing to do as there's so much wonkiness and morphing currently, it really prevents me from doing what I really wanna do so have to find many workarounds. It will surely get way better at it though.

    Honestly this is fantastic. It's clearly AI and the brain picks up on it almost instantly, however that does not make this any less impressive. The performances, both visual and voice are still pretty wooden. There's a very noticable lack of emotion and nuance. I'm not sure a computer will ever be able to match a genuinely emotional human performance. I applaude the creators. Well done. This must've been a ton of work.

      Awesome! Thanks for the feedback. This tech is rapidly developing and although it's so far away from what it can become in the future, you could definitely use some AI to bring certain scenes to life, especially abstract images or landscape shots. That's why everyone is more focused on making short trailers and just cool shots. Problems become much more noticeable when you actually try to go for filmic stuff or have realistic actors interact with each other. Thanks for watching!

    Wow! Just wanted to take a moment to congratulate you on pushing the boundaries of AI for sci-fi! 🎉 It's truly incredible to see what you've achieved, especially considering the current limitations of tools like Runway ML and Hailuo AI. Sure, these models can only generate short clips (usually just 5-10 seconds), so to craft an immersive story with realistic visuals takes a lot of dedication and creativity. It’s easy to underestimate the challenge until you try it yourself. For anyone unfamiliar with the process, achieving even this level of realism is a phenomenal feat given the constraints and rapidly evolving AI tech. The fact that you’re able to bring such quality together in a cohesive way shows your skill and your commitment to the craft. Can't wait to see how you keep pushing these tools to new heights! Keep up the great work! 🚀✨

      @ArsMechanicaProductions  Месяц назад +3

      Haha not really :) I had to cut a lot of content which explained that scene better because the visuals didn't come out as I expected. So to give more exposition; ''Alliance'' is a sort of NATO in this fictional world led by US and Turkiye is an alliance country. There are soldiers from different countries in each others' territories. They did clash with ''Coalition'' countries and are in occupation of some which you'll learn about. Istanbul, due to its geopolitical location of being a natural bridge and a logistical nightmare for both factions has (to be explained in the next episode) become a neutral city during the war and became a safe zone for meetings and negotiations. It's a mega city with a lot of money from both factions pouring into it. Hence ''Neo Istanbul'' :) Thanks for watching!

    Congratulations on the video!
    My friend, what an interesting piece of work! It must have been hell to make this 32-minute video, but it turned out really well!
    I've been wondering for a while now why people haven't started making short films using AI.
    Some scenes are robotic, but I liked the framing, angles and especially the "actors", they were great.
    I wish you much health and success, and keep impressing!

      Thank you so much for your kind words my friend! Yeah, it was an experiment to see if it could be done. There are so many issues and wonkiness but technology is getting better so rapidly I had to start from somewhere :) Thanks for watching and I wish you back so much health and success!

    I would call this a working proof of concept, and we'll get to see how the ai evolves with each episode. There is a striking difference between the "stiff head" scenes (kinda like ai's take on Captain Scarlet) and sections where the head movement during conversation looks incredibly realistic (ie: the "chat" from 10:09 to 15:40). Man, a year from now, given the pace of ai evolution, we will have legit realistic episodes/movies... that is, assuming there aren't any global disasters. 😬

    • @ArsMechanicaProductions
      @ArsMechanicaProductions  9 дней назад +1

      Yes sir that was the idea, we can track how much and fast AI gets better at it this way. Combining real footage with real actors and using AI overlays is my current project for episode 2. We'll see how far we can push this :) Thanks for watching!

  • @Jamaicafunk
    @Jamaicafunk Месяц назад +1

    I understand the goal to make 'full length' films. Perhaps 10 minute installments would be better until the stiffness of the voices improves. Then you could stretch it out to a whole season. I think 'Less is more' in this case. It's good though. I'm doing the same thing.

    • @ArsMechanicaProductions

    That - is - INSANE! Cyberpunk 2077 on a new level. What you put out of the A.I. Tools is really astonishing. I saw Amos Burton (The Expanse) for some seconds. ;) If you make a series out of it, which will then increased over time in technology to make the humans more humans, a call from Apple will be granted to you. It is to see with what A.I. does have problems, human hands and mimics, and letters. But nothing can be perfect. How long you worked on that? Great work!

    • @ArsMechanicaProductions
      @ArsMechanicaProductions  9 дней назад

      Thank you so much. Amos was the man haha! This took about 2 months to make but I think I was trying to do too much with the limited tech at the time so couldn't achieve what I really wanted to. It's an experiment though. I'm shooting some real scenes with real actors to combine with AI for episode 2 so we'll see how far we can push things now that better technology has arrived :) Thank you for watching!

      Thank you and of course. Image generator is Midjourney. Magnific for upscaling the images. Runway, Luma and Kling for animations, but minimax came out right after I uploaded the movie and it's pretty good if you wanna check that out as well. Sync labs for lip sync. Eleven labs for ai voices. Magic hour ai for faceswaps and Udio for music generation. Also used topaz labs software to upscale everything to 4K.
