Edward Bosco is an absolute legend of Hell. One corner he’s the final boss of the Hellish Doom Eternal, not to mention the Marauder. The other he’s the eternally-smiling Radio Demon, Alastor, from Hazbin Hotel It ultimately begs the question as to why he’s associated with Hell so much, but hey, if I’d never heard Alastor’s voice, I wouldn’t have half the enjoyment I have in life, so I’m not gonna question it.
To this day, I still don't understand whether or not Valen's son physically was the Icon itself, or if his soul was merely used to reanimate/control the Icon.
@@owenrussell5162 Right, it's just that the Codex entries kind of make it sound like the demons straight up turned the son into the Icon. If the Maykrs knew it was the Slayer that killed it in the first place, they might have thought twice.
He says slayer and most likely knows it was Doom Guy and clearly wants the revenge for all the deaths of the demons and what he did to him. He waited for this moment for a long time
Imagine if there was a hidden sound effect where if you reversed his lines or slowed them down, it sounded like a human saying "Please kill me!" or something like "Set me free Slayer!" cause maybe some part of the Betrayer's son was still in there and knew what was happening and was crying out for help. Or it could be Hugo Martin singing Never Gonna Give You Up.
Maybe. Yes? No? The series will unfold what he's capable of, though he's definitely powerful, being an overlord. In the streams, Viv said he's strong, but when asked about whether Alastor or Lucifer is stronger, she said Lucifer. Still, imagine a several-story deer. Speaking of demons, since Viv also said that Charlie's cute goat bodyguards have full giant, draconic goat forms, these two plush companions would probably be two Icons of Sins when protecting Charlie.
@@lusverma2136 Well, as of now, the Icon (Baphomet) is a reality bending entity (both by mere presence and even willfully), able to become stronger by residing in the mortal plane and eventually capable of bring down a universe. Alastor may be powerful, but his feats so far (and the rest of the demon's in Hazbin for that matter) don't seem to have that kind of raw power and even though they have access to the mortal world, it seems unscathed by their presence, not to mention they willingness to hide when Heaven sends angels while in Doom, even Urdak was taken aback by Hell.
