Just to answer some of the common questions: All of the footage comes from the Kinolibrary archives. I wanted to make the video longer, but I was restricted by what was available in the archives that also matched locations in the game, and were filmed around the time of the games setting (I kept it to late 80s/early 90s). The music is an AI generated track made using Udio AI, so this is the only place you'll find it.
Nope, San Andreas was its time, everyone else was well behind. There is nothing groundbreaking about San Andreas, in fact its tech is actually quite outdated for 2004, it's just solid design and production that stands the test of time.
@unclegardener The technical stuff under the hood, like the engine it's built on, the low poly assets, the miniscule texture sizes, the incredibly simplistic way NPCs behave and react to the player... All of that is well behind what was possible in 2004, yet it was cobbled together by people with some serious skills and, more importantly, *taste* so the end result holds better today than anything else from that time.
Are you really this miserable? Too desperate for people that validate clichés like these? Even left a like emoji at the end of the comment to condition us to also leave a like... jkys man 😅 This will only be acceptable if you're like 12 or someone who lives in rural African areas 🤣
This is footage from KinoLibrary. They have archive footage of everyday scenes like this going back decades, and I wanted to try and use clips that are from around the time the game is set to keep the same style, so late 80s/early 90s. I would have liked to create a longer video, but I was restricted by what was available in the archives that also matches in game areas and the time frame I wanted. I might create another one if I can find more suitable footage.
Good job matching the camera movements for most of the shots
I love how you used vintage footage from the 90s ! And the fact this audio track is AI generated is wild
Some of the shots are so similar you don't know where the reality is

I just wanna say, I LOVE GTA SAN ANDREAS!!
Me too SA for life

@@juhannusruusu Dude, write "please" at least. Also, if you really want to hear songs like this one, search up some early Modest Mouse albums.
Thank you for this great effort😊

Gta Sanandreas was way ahead of it's time. Nice comparison by the way 👍

There will be never ever another game like GTA SA featuring multiple cities in one map
There have been numerous games that have done that since then.

The best town in San Andreas is San Fierro IMO.
Does this footage originates from the developers?
