Indian comedy movies were at their peak during the period from 2000 to 2010. Movies like "Hera Pheri," "Phir Hera Pheri," "Bhool Bhulaiyaa," "De Dana Dan," "Bhagam Bhag," "Dhol," and "Khatta Meetha" were winning the hearts of millions of Indians at that time. The comedy genre was one of the biggest genres in Bollywood. However, in recent times, comedy movies are struggling to make a business at the box office, and some of the movies that get released are not as good as those in the 2000s.

Anand L Rai could be a very interesting choice for Hera Pheri 3. He can present the world of Hera Pheri with it's rawness intact+Imo, he has never failed with comedy in his career, even his worst movie Zero had amazing comedy in the 1st half+He has a good bond with Akshay post Atrangi re and Rakshabandhan

In my opinion, hera phera 3 movie should be to the given to the original director priyadarshan because he knows how to maintain the reputation of the hera pheri Francise and he also understand this movie very well. So I think hera pheri 3 should be hand over to him and if he disagree to direct then we have only one option left. We should give this flim to anees bazmee because in my opinion he can make good comedy movies and he can definitely make it great if great not that good one at least. He has the guts to make Hera pheri 3 and the ability too.
