These solvey vlogs have been some of my absolute favourite vlogs. They're so inspiring, giving me so much insight and showing me a lot of the issues going on in other cities besides my own. They also make me really take a look at the problems in my own city and to discuss with the people around me some of the issues we have here at home and if there is a way to fix them. (Montreal, Quebec, Canada)
What you & Dave are doing is beyond impressive. I've watched hours upon hours of video trying to catch up! Your vlogs are not only thought provoking and informative, but also very entertaining at times (i.e.: Dave's drunk dancing & your modeling booty shorts). I found you through Josh & I'm really glad I took the time to see just what FunForLouis is all about! He said he looked up to you & I totally understand what he meant. I'm chronically ill &, sadly, I think my traveling days are behind me. I live in the United States but I was fortunate to make it to a few countries outside of here. Cherished memories! Louis & Dave....Thank you for letting me "travel" the world through your eyes! Much love & safe travels! Your friend, Kristin
Bless the heart of these young smart people. I was really touched by the young man who talked about students not being able to challenge the teachers, as I plan to move to Japan to teach as well, and it's a thing to keep in mind. Such a good vlog.
This is what I love (Kind of being bias here), I see other 'successful' people, enjoying life, which is good, but not really making a difference at the same time, helping others, making a difference in society. Louis, you are officially a legend in my eyes, & now my favourite person on youtube. What you are a doing is truly inspiring & remarkable, given the fact you have the power to make a difference & you are using it to do so. You have my true respect & hopefully one day will get to say this you in person!
Hey Louis I would appreciate it if you would record an uncut version of the group discussions on a separate channel maybe on a solvey channel....I'm fascinated by all these different cultures and what ails them and to see a full discussion would be really great for understanding. I think many of us would agree that a focus on these groups would be a great way to open global dialog.
saw your vlog after so long and I didn't know about sovey. but what you are doing with this platform and audience of your youtube followers is just so inspiring! and this is exactly why I love you. you inspire people. it is just amazing! keep up the good work!
I left Exploring With Josh a comment a looong time ago about how he reminded me of Louis, and he said thanks and that he was a big fan of his. Now he met him!!! 😄
I wish Louis's group talk about more daily blog discussion. It is revolutionizing media with self expression. I think everyone deserves to blog everyday on youtube and we need to discuss how not to shy away from it and embrace the new technology. There should be more discussion about how to be comfortable in front of camera and how to not scare people when shooting scenes in restaurant or coffee place.
I would love to see you produce a "Solvey tour behind the scenes" video talking about shooting, organizing and editing all of the footage on your trip. I was especially curious about the people talking into their phones and how you are collecting and incorporating that audio. Keep up the great work... these are all very interesting.
Hi Louis. I'm glad you enjoyed Japan😊 I was really excited watching this vlog. because I want the educations to change too and I didn't know there was actually who has the same thoughts like mine hehe.
