These last few weeks have been some of the best vlogs you have done in a while, I think its because you are regaining your energy, its really nice to see :)
I was super terrified of dogs when I was little. Every time I walked past one I started sweating and stiffened up. If I saw one I would go to the other side of the street so that I didn't have to walk past it. I've kinda gotten over it now but there's still something left. I've even run away from a dog who thought I was playing, my brother had to get the dog and hold it so that I could get away. I haven't stepped out of cars and I've gotten back in to them if there were dogs nearby. Just them coming within 10 meters would make me sweat. I've even started crying when they were near me or doing something to me or around me because I was just terrified. It was very bad and just thinking about it now is kinda hard. I'm pretty sure that that was a phobia. And I'm pretty sure that you haven't got a phobia for cold weather. You may just not like it, and since you are able to travel you chose to go to the warmer places. I think most people would choose warm weather over cold weather. You're not afraid of the cold. You're not scared to death by it.
+Wizard Alia I don't like a lot of them, probably because of former experiences with dogs but I had a few rabbits in my garden a few years ago. I guess they're the only animal I'd ever consider getting. But I wouldn't get them if I couldn't keep them in a large area outside in my garden. Not a fan of keeping them in small boxes inside.
I have been following Aflfie and Zoe for such a long time and I cannot believe I haven't been following you! Your videos are stellar! I don't know why you don't have a "bizillion" more subscribers! You offer such a variety of interesting bits. I have a lot to catch up on! Keep smiling, Valerie
I can understand people not liking the random weather. You just get used to it. When it's sunny, you feel like superman after the sun recharges your cells :)
Perfect vlog, all this needed was a sprinkling of Ben and Steve, a 3am laptop club visit to that service station Starbucks and it would have been a true classic.
*Hi Louis. I see your grandfather is doing well, Could you interview him about the war, I have seen many interviews and they are always so interesting*
The spinning shot to the view out the building was a cool shot! I can totally relate to the struggle to add weight, this has been a struggle my whole life. The land search sounds really cool! I have had the dream of owning and living on a piece of land my whole life. I owned one once, but had to sell it. Still looking forward to having one to live on.
Glad you are relaxing Louis- after all i come to watch your videos to chill out, sit back and relax while watching some of the beautiful scenes you put out there
i love this vlog so much, i especially liked the music as it was soo good! i like that it was so relaxing to watch and you created such a chill atmosphere. i'm so glad you're in a better place right now and are feeling better.
Aww Louis your Grandpa seems like such a lovely man! I'd love to hear his story... But I'm also really looking forward to your future plans too! It's so nice to see you more chilled, I definitely think it comes through the camera and makes a more enjoyable video when you're happier. Take all the time you need to recharge, I'd happily watch many walks round a park while you do!
Wish we have a park like that around where I live, it will be nice to go out for a walk.... Anytime now, Sylvia will be starring in your blog fixing your hair while you're at home.;-)
My grandpa had a man made lake behind his house with a teeny tiny boat on it. When life got too much we would row to the middle of the lake, lay in the boat and just look at the sky. The amount of mosquitos were ridiculous because of the lake, though. Hopefully you get a nice piece of land to build memories like i did at my grandpa's. It was beautiful, i wish i could still visit him..
Love these kinds of vlogs just as much as your high adventure ones! What a beautiful part of the UK you come from... and it's just lovely to see you with your family! Thanks for sharing, Louis!
Hope the treehouse works out - seems so unlike you to establish roots somewhere (pun intended), but I think its something you've wanted to do for a long time. So I'd say go for it, and live life without any regrets :)
hey louis. as you are interested in tree houses - it would be really cool if you would visit some and check out the coolest trees houses (for example the one from foster huntington) and so figuring out how you would like to build yours!!
I'm finishing up a joinery and carpentry apprenticeship and I'd love to help in anyway I can in your tree house project! I live central UK and happy to travel anywhere! Iv been watching your videos for years now and I'd love to give something back!! Please like this so he can see it! Cheers guys
When I was 11, me and two friends got away with building a treehouse in the woods by a creek in a wooded valley, just outside our neighborhood. There was an abandoned treehouse, built off of three trees standing in a triangle 10ft apart, Louis. Enough 12ft x 6inch x 2inch beams were abandoned there to make 2 more floors, so we did. The third floor was 25ft high! We would have went higher, to 50ft if enough wood was left there, but there wasn't. We reverse engineered the original floor, and built two more with railings, and floor beams along the inside of two trees and the outside of one in a triangle. We grabbed a hammer, saw, and nails, from our Dad's garages, and that's all we needed. We couldn't get fancy with walls, because we were in 6th grade and our parents knew nothing.
I never thought of blaming being cold all the time on my high metabolism. You might have a point. We are orignally from the northern USA (Ohio) and we moved to Southwest Florida. I hate the cold. It literally hurts me. My mom was from the mountains of northner Spain and my dad's parents were from northern Spain as well. You'd think I would have a built in tolerance to cold...but I don't. So I understand you lol :) Melody
Paul Gibson Louis is very slender and has high metabolism as you can see in his video. I have trouble keeping weight on myself. I'm on the skinnier side...always have been and also have high metabloslim. All my siblings were super skinny as kids. We could eat like horses and still look like we were hungry lol :) Our doctor used to say it was because of our high metabolism that we were so skinny and genetics. Melody
Paul Gibson Well, I'm with you on that what they teach in science class turns out to be wrong much of the time. Just about everything I learned back in teh 70s is wrong..including history. I feel like I wasted my childhood in school learning wrong facts :)
I think Louis should really come to where I like Barrow in Furness, Cumbria! The lake district is beautiful and I think he'd love it and love all the exploring to be done !!
Стараюсь смотреть каждый день ибо этот человек заряжает позитивом... Так сказать ,,позитивный настрой на каждый день,, и стимулирует только позитивное мышление) Вообщем Спасибо за настроение и настрой!
It doesn't really matter how many times you travel or how far you go, you always know when you are at home. If I were looking for land and a place to build among the trees it would be California/Nevada at Lake Tahoe.... paradise on earth. The real estate wouldn't come cheap, but think of all the air fare you would save. Live the Adventure.
Louis you should look into buying land in cape breton, nova scotia, Canada. The bras d'or lake is gorgeous and the land prices are fairly good. Surrounded by mountains. Need I say more.
Louis, why don't you use Sotheby's to acquire land. They have information on estate sales which allow you to buy parcels of land from not just particles within the home. Because some land is a conservatory which can not be developed in any way. My former boss had that issue.
I have a phobia of the cold too Louis, and I even get these things I call "electrical shocks" if it's real cold or I'm more than just a few. They're painful and it feels like I'm being shocked by electricity. Hence why I call them that. Anyone else have this? Tried explaining to my doctor and he just looked at me like I'm delusional. 🙁 Doesn't help that I live in a very cold climate for wintertime either.
I enjoyed this very much. The outing with your Mon and grand-dad, the thoughts on land, and Raya, on your mind. I own 6+ acres of field on the salt coast in Maine, and it is lovely, but best left to develop in its' own way. There are dreams, but I prefer to keep it, not make it into something like so much else is in the estate market. Since I am in my 50s, I can offer my sincerest hopes that you and Raya follow your hearts, and I hope to see you travel together more and more. Although 'we' see such a short time of you two together, there is a lovely feeling people like me sense. Could be fleeting, or something else-eh? Peace to you both, your families, and those on your travels. =Maine=
The UK doesn't have dense enough tree cover, Louis. You need 3-4 thick, tall, old trees standing close together in a triangle, or square. Or a huge oak with giant branches that can hold it without damaging it when the wind blows. There's much cheaper Redwood forested land up by Eureka, Ca. By the coast. The Ewoks didn't build there for nothing. And you can build 100's of feet up. Just sayin.
I think finding property with a lake in place is your best bet. To make your own lake is extremely expensive. I'm sure an estate agent could help in finding exactly what you want. I would also suggest more than 1 acre, more like 5 for what you want to do.
I love it when Louis Vlogs in the UK
Boom! Thumbs up for Louis.
These last few weeks have been some of the best vlogs you have done in a while, I think its because you are regaining your energy, its really nice to see :)
Vibes in this one Louis!
+vagabrothers Indeed!
Always got the bomb music bro
Good stuff Louis, amazing images and groovy music.

agreed!
I have/had the same phobia of dogs! I love them so much but what you just explained is exactly my story
i guess thats why your profile picture is a cat then lol
+Murray Cobb not really, I dislike cats. But the "heavy breathing" one is just too good. It's the only cat I like.
Man... I really love your intros!!
+pegameunviaje YEES!!!

It's so easy to hate on England for its crap weather but then there are days like yesterday when you just can't beat it :)
Mate it was hardly warm at about 16 degree tops
I can understand people not liking the random weather. You just get used to it. When it's sunny, you feel like superman after the sun recharges your cells :)
+carissa bloomingeck I was sat in a t-shirt in a beer garden so I was overly happy!
Happy to see your grandpa so active :)
Did anyone else find that intro extremely satisfying?

The UK has so many beautiful spots that no one knows about!
Daaaamn, Louis. Back at it with the sexy black head band!
That shot of the airplane with the moon gives me goosebumps. Just so peaceful.
It's beautiful that you get excited of just a simple thing as looking out your window and seeing a beautiful sunset just as well as an exotic place.
come to the philippines next!
Yes please!
+Nomadic In The Philippines YESSIR!
Lol! That would be very interesting!!! Different vibe
There's been some gorgeous late winter sunsets lately, making everything glow amber!

Louis, your vlogs always have such a beautiful artistic flair, and especially today.
When louis was talking about being rushed off in school, his grandpa was in the background looking at him like "lets go" lol
That was a really great vlog Louis. All the calm and peace you are talking about looks good on you. Take care and good luck in your research. xx

isnt a lake just a really big pond? isnt an ocean just a really big lake?
I love painshill park too! 💞💞
Hi Louis, good to see you taking it easy and getting your projects on the role.
Will miss seeing you and Raya together.
That old building in the park looks exactly like the spot where they filmed the rain scene from Pride and Prejudice
I really wish I could travel the world like you do!
Love your vlogs Luois♥️
Have a nice day! 🌼
Where's Louis grandad from in Scotland? since He's half Scottish
