If for instance the camera is moving, but the subject and background is stationary, also like in your given example of car, how can we do this motion tracking thing, to make sure the background is not just moving, but stays where it is in proximity to the subject. I may be late to the video but does adding contrast tape in the background really help? I've seen sets do that but I always wondered how effective it is
I think he did not place it properly, he should have copied and pasted the floor null position to the ground texture then parent to the null layer. And the ground texture is a little bigger than the car.
Hi I am new to vfx, I don't understand how parallax effect work if the markers on green screen are always at a different distance than the required background like those mountains behind so even if I track camera movement then the background should move with the markers speed ?
Matte painting work is fantastic but thier is slitly movment if u look right side front wheel ..car is not looking as fully stick to the floor..it has movment..
Everything is fine but the position of background layers and the ground layer maybe not set that's why car is floating on ground a little bit when camera moves.
well, kinda all of it bro, you can do a part 1,2 or how many parts you want just to explain every detail and technique. Its a good tutorial but for beginners like us, its hard for us to follow it, so if its okay for you to do a much detailed tutorial on every technique you did, we would be very much appreciated :>

I never thought it would be useful, but once compositing it add a very little but effective layer of distinction
Can i ask something.. why ground is not tracked properly... Ground and jeep tyres are not sticked they are moving differently

the track isn't good in your footage .reason is your taxk points have reflective surface, i just encountered the same mistake.
