jamesboyjinx I don't understand it either. I love Julia cos she's brilliant and I get Victoria writes it all but when you watch these sketches and you just don't laugh it does make u wonder "why is it funny" it's a nice sketch but I never laugh and I've watched loads of Victoria's sketches. Sometimes I giggle but usually it's just "oh that's nice" but never funny
As Julie said when Victoria passed."She wrote some wonderful lines, and then gave them all to me!"Such selflessness.
who ever said every one was replaceable , had never meet, seen or laughed with Victoria Wood. She will be so missed
Yes, she will. I was mourning this loss for an hour last night ;-;
Such a classic sketch and a wonderful example of how selfless she was. She gave every laugh to Julie.
"I wondered why he'd had that cat flap widened..."
Wonderful writing. RIP Victoria.
Victoria gave the best lines away - she knew how to create perfect comedy
God Bless You Victoria. Legend. x
Had to watch this as soon as I heard of VW'S passing. Julie Walters gets the best lines but the sketch wouldn't work without Victoria Wood.
+tyreburster I think Victoria gave most of the best lines to Julie in many sketches.
Very true ....but Victoria wrote the whole sketch..
She was the most generous comedian ever.
RIP Victoria
A true ledgend, irreplaceable talent
What a funny sketch .
Well she likes the majesty and grandeur of the landscape, but she's not to keen on the bacon.
LOL, every Italian restaurant in the 1990s, the pepper grinder is true to scale.
victoria wood and julie walters=legends
"They're all like that here, jamming their groins into your tortellini" 😂😂😂
Wonderful!!
Ah,the good old days when comedy used to be FUNNY. Hurrah,Ms.Wood and Ms.Walters.
ah Gerard Kelly as the Waiter, RIP
I think this is my favourite sketch other than Acorn Antiques
Trystan Gravelle from Mr. Selfridge (as waiter Victor Colleano) looks today like Gerard Kelly did here. Had to do a double take, at first.
Place looks simillar to Allo'Allo! I know this doesn't have anything to do with Wood and Wlaters but yeah familliar scenery
If only Italian men were still like this!!!! I was born in the wrong era . . .
No that's all changed.
The world is a little less funny....😓
So Nick, apparentlyyyyyy has met someone else!
@ella489 I thought you had to be able to play billiards?
im going to become a nun....
I keep waiting for that waiter to bang his head on the archway!!
It's so close, isn't it. Just like Duncan Preston with the microphone in Acorn Antiq(u)es.
Nice and cheesy
I just can't understand who likes this.
Look at Victoria wood's IS IT ON THE TROLLEY? sketch. If you don't like that then you need to leave the house more.
Or take up 'rolling round the kitchen on a bitch ball'
jamesboyjinx I don't understand it either. Edwoirido Of Norandell everybody is allowed an opinion. There's no need to be rude!! If they don't find it funny it's their choice, stop being nasty
