The fan motor is a DC 'arduino type' two wire 3.5-5volt motor. It is Velcroed onto LEGO blocks and snapped onto the base plate. This can run all day by plugging a USB from wall wort to Superbit recharge port with 18650 battery installed as shown. There is no slumping or sagging of the printed boat so I assume the fan cooled it enough.

Fan only has to cool the pla as it comes out of the nozzle for a couple of seconds
