The curly style at the front was used on Emma Thompson in Sense and Sensibility, I think........I’ve always wondered how they did it! My hair is a mess right now, as I lost a lot of hair due to chemotherapy tablets. I didn’t lose it all but enough so that I can’t get a style and my scalp shows through at the front. I will always take chemo drugs so my hair will never grow back. I’ve been in despair! I tried this, and it’s PERFECT, and feel much more confident. All of them work, and I use the first one if I’m staying at home, the second if I’m going shopping and the third for socialising! Nowadays, that’s not often due to Covid, but the confidence boost is wonderful. Thank you so much for this! xx Love all your videos!

I just received my headband today and it’s a great color match and I love it. Makes the hair look styled with so little effort. We both grew out our pixi’s. I can use large Velcro rollers now. ❤️

I'm at that age (66) I need a pick-me-up/makeover and was admiring braided wigs online--but the ones I saw were all long and looked gorgeous on the young models. They'd probably look like part of a costume if I put them on, lol! The braided hair band, though--PERFECT!!!!!! I think that's just what will suit me and didn't realize they existed until I watched this video. What would you call your basic cut in this video? My hair is now quite wavy instead of straight as it used to be so I am going to try that gel mixture and a diffuser instead of blow drying or velcro rollers.I haven't had hair this long in years but its a nice change. Hi Kerry. Years ago I used the tiny clamp things with teeth and twisted my front hair in small sections and placed the clamps in. However, I like your braid headband idea too. 🌻
Yes, I use those also, they're great! I tried to explain those to someone here who said her hair was too thick for bobby pins, and I didn't know what they were called, (So also called them little clamp things lol!)

My hair is nearly identical to yours...frizzier around my ears as well! I live in NE Florida and the humidity is making it extra tough to handle my crazy! I have also found my hair to be harder to tame since I stopped coloring it almost four years ago. I wear scarves alot, but really like the braided hair band. Thanks for sharing!

I received my braided headband from Amazon. Normally, any kind of headband, barrette, ponytail holder, etc, gives me a headache. Because this particular headband has an adjustable strap, it doesn't bother me at all. I quite like it.

My hair is growing out, a bit longer now than yours is, and I’m sitting here on Sunday morning, looking like a wild woman (my wash day hair is the best, too, as yours is). I was thinking of just letting my “freak fly”, as they used to say, but I much prefer your civilized look. PS - I also have a spot (my right front side) that goes flat and will not hold a curl, like the rest of my hair. What’s that all about?? Anyway - Thanks for another great video. I've been growing it out since last November, but I did have a trim in early March, my hairdresser took off about 1 1/2 to 2 inches where it needed more shaping, (around the neck) and I haven't touched it since. It seems slow going to me, how about you?

I have also found my hair to be harder to tame since I stopped coloring it almost four years ago. I wear scarves alot, but really like the braided hair band. Thanks for sharing!

I received my braided headband from Amazon. Normally, any kind of headband, barrette, ponytail holder, etc, gives me a headache. Because this particular headband has an adjustable strap, it doesn't bother me at all. I quite like it.

My goodness your hair has really grown and it looks fabulous!! I loved the twisted version the best as in that one the hairband really looked like it was part of your hair. I keep wanting to grow my hair out but I always get so far then give in and get it cut again. I need to stick to my guns and seeing how lovely yours has grown spurs me on. Boy, did I need this video this morning! My hair is growing out, a bit longer now than yours is, and I’m sitting here on Sunday morning, looking like a wild woman (my wash day hair is the best, too, as yours is). I was thinking of just letting my “freak fly”, as they used to say, but I much prefer your civilized look. PS - I also have a spot (my right front side) that goes flat and will not hold a curl, like the rest of my hair. What’s that all about?? Anyway - Thanks for another great video. Thank you Karen, I just went and measured it lol! it's 7" most places. I've been growing it out since last November, but I did have a trim in early March, my hairdresser took off about 1 1/2 to 2 inches where it needed more shaping, (around the neck) and I haven't touched it since. It seems slow going to me, how about you?
I have been growing it out since January with 2 trims so far and it's around 4 inches, so a bit more to go
