Because life wasn't supposed to be like the Video game Grand Theft Auto 5 where actions have no lasting consequences. Suffering is caused by the actions of others or ourselves. Sometimes an action sets off a chain of events that we cant keep track of, and that results in someone suffering. But imagine what kind of people we would be in actions had no consequences or if everything you did only affected you. Sounds like God is teaching the human race responsibility as painful a lesson as it might be........
God who is Love doesn't allow suffering. God would be a tyrant if we couldn't choose where we end up. The intellectual animal mistakenly called Human creates suffering. People behave like animals *that's why we're here on earth & not evolving in the superior dimensions. But we're meant to become human (hum: sanskrit for Spirit & manas: sanskrit for mind) spiritually minded individuals. & this by becoming Christ's, Angels, Divine God's & Goddesses obeying the will of the Father,Son,& Holy Spirit is how suffering will cease!
