It was not that easy as I thought in the beginning. Now the key feels so good! Thanks for the very helpful video!

Great video, I finally managed to change mine after putting up with the huge rubber nonsense for a year or so 👍

It was easy to follow your detailed steps with a few pauses along the way. Thanks for the excellent presentation.

Brilliant! I've been super gluing and messing with the rubber outside casing for years, now I have (2) as new key fobs thanks to you!

These fobs are like intricate little puzzles, but your video explained the process. Many thanks and bye-bye rubberized mess!

Thank you Matt! It took me longer than a few minutes...but my old fob was 11 years old and may have had some old "trauma" from many previous battery changes and a wonky release button on the valet key release. The new cover I received from Atlantic British came with the little metal spring and the two spring clips so I didn't have to do that bit (thank God). Looks great and everything worked once I had it together (thank God again! 😅)

Many Thanks, just done mine, lost the spring, but thankfully a few minutes of scrabbling on the floor, found it again... Be Warned, that spring is very small and loaded.

You dont need that background so called music din. Your voice is clear and precise get ridofit and I would give 5 star.

Is it possible to drive out the pin that holds the key ring so you can put a new ring in it?

The trouble is, the genuine LR replacement cases suffer the same manufacturing/design flaw as the original cases ie. The rubber comes away from the plastic case body. Then you're back with the same problem 12 months later. It's a disgrace that when you make a faulty part on a car, you sell the same faulty parts as replacements

Have a look at part LR052905, it’s a hard plastic outer… no more rubber peeling off

This looks like a complete nightmare - not for the faint hearted! The background 'muzak' is completely unnecessary by the way.
