Ex-Apple ecosystem guy here. I'm truly impressed with what Google is doing with their own hardware and software. You guys are willing to do what Apple isn't, and that's innovate. I can't wait to get the Pixel buds pro and Pixel watch!
Also, I really love the level of customisation and options Google allows in their products vs Apple!

Already installed! Pixels get better with each and every upgrade! Suggestion: Allow users to pick custom shortcuts in the lockscreen instead of wallet and pay. For example, camera and flashlight. #TeamPixel
You can go straight to the camera by double clicking the power button. But yeah, I’d like to be able to switch google home shortcut to flashlight for example.

So if the pixel buds will be getting support for spacial audio in January, will youtube music have a section deticated to music produced in spacial audio, or is spacial audio on the pixel buds more designed for movies and tv shows?
Accord to what I've seen both, and other apps like Spotify will benefit from it too
as an apple user with spatial audio (came out in 2020). RUclips already supports spatial audio and so does 3rd party apps for iOS.
RUclips would have to actually increase its audio quality instead of just the price of RUclips premium. Good luck with that. Use Apple music for high resolution audio.

It would be cool to have those features on all of the supported Pixel devices. Or at least on all of the tensor-powered pixels! I am disappointed even as a hardcore pixel fan.

Sadly I had to return my Pixel Watch LTE because I lost my job. 😭 I miss it already. I still have my Pixel 7 Pro as I was beyond the return window. I still have my Pixel Buds Pro. So I still have a part of the Pixel family with me.
One day I'll own the Pixel Watch LTE again.

Please fix the portrait mode on pixel 7
I just got my Pixel Watch and while I know most people will be getting the second and third generations, I still enjoy it a lot. However, I do hope more developers will make apps for the watch because it is severely lacking.
Edit: it is severely lacking in apps, I thought I made that clear. The only app I can think of is Spotify.

Had my Pixel 5A, but it stopped working suddenly (for no reasons) a few months back and upgraded to the Pixel 6 when everyone said not to buy Pixel again. But it was a worth transition, love my Pixel 6 📱

@@huntno normally both should be possible. If you click on an object, the camera should follow the object with the focus. And you can view raw pictures in Google Photos. I personally just miss a pro mode.

Please create a small Pixel like the size of iPhone 13 mini. Like myself there are many people out there who got used to using mini phones but want to try android phones. Most android flagships are big. I’ve only seen Asus with a good small phone. Would love to use a pixel 8 compact with all its features.
I got the pixel 7 pro during black Friday and regret it. The screen colors are dull and washed out, especially under 70% brightness. Samsung budget phones have better colors at 50% brightness than the pixel 7 pro. I did my research and found that they are using the same screen the Samsung 20 ultra used. The battery consumption of the screen is also an issue. It consumes too much battery compared to Apple and Samsung. I also have dropped connection every time I leave the house for 45 minutes to an hour. I tried forgetting the network and restarting my device with no change. The network problem could be the provider's(Mint) fault. Next time I'm going to stick with Samsung or Apple and I'm surely leaving Mint Mobile.
Would be nice if could also make calls! That basic phone functionality.

I never thought I would say this but the current pixel software is absolutely better than iOS. My only request is for an ultra phone. Some power users such as myself could really use a bit more power gaming and photo editing.

I just tested it on my google nest hub, a Chromecast and a few days ago I did it on a fire TV stick and a Samsung smart TV.

since the material you design changes pixel's branding and it's software in general feel like they are beating apple at their own game with the smoothness and "humanness" of everything
We should be able to customize lock screen. My old Pixel had time and all important stuff at the center. I like that better to be honest. Also I think 2 button navigation should be optional. I don't get why 3 button navigation is included but 2 button nav. is not.
2 button is not there in new updates😱? Because my phone is Android 12 (pixel 3a), I'm a fan of 2 buttons
You bricked my Nexus 5 with an OTA update, and refused to fix it even though I bought it direct from the Google Play store, so not entirely keen to do that again thanks

Honestly I find these annual pixel feature drops more exciting than the latest Android builds
I don't know that I would say it is the biggest feature drop that you guys have ever done. Certainly have been enjoying the new animations that have been added to a few things. One thing I have already noted though, occasionally my cellular connectivity seems to be disappearing with the exclamation mark now.
Hmm, I haven't had that issue on Pixel 6, I've noticed that it goes sometimes off briefly when switching between network and wifi but that's because I turned off keeping mobile data on when wifi connected, perhaps that is also partially why I'm not noticing though, but not sure. I don't recall seeing that personally.
Been using pixel 6a for a while and have to say its the best phone hands down
Yet missing a few features which would be quite useful
-Camera shortcut on lock screen
-Vibrate when call is received
-Call Recording

I have considered the 6A simply because it’s a pretty small phone compared to the regular size phones
Spatial audio part was definitely best for me, but already many phone company provide Dolby Atmos and Vision on phones. Google should do the same.

you basically just killed the 6 series. Google is not worth the investment anymore.
Imagine Google now denies you of features that can already run on your 1 year old device. Also, imagine that even if you buy their latest flagship, most of these features are region locked.
Google is marching towards it's own end. The fanboys cheering it up in the comments section are just so invested in Google's products and don't want it to feel like a loss, or they aren't affected yet.
I just want the updated speech to text feature available in more languages. I mainly speak spanish and I would use it a lot but I only seem to get it to work with my english keyboard.
Love pixel, but do you know what would make me ignore all other manufacturers? An SD card slot. Or some exceptional, included cloud storage.
Pixel 7 needs an update about display colors. Many, including me, are complaining about really washed out colors on the Pixel 7. I had Pixel 2, which already had washed out colors and bad hardware display that made the screen burn out, even compared to my old Pixel 2, Pixel 7 looks like it's monochrome. Not to mention kind of a rainbow effect when the phone is held in certain angles. This can be tolerable but the display colors are not. WAYYY TO WASHED OUT even in the right setting. Totally a drag esp in social media apps.

Almost feels like they have discontiuned the Pixel 4a, 5 and 5a series. Only feature drop for 6 and newer I guess lol.
Maybe you should fix the mobile connectivity issues on the pixel 6 pro is having before rolling out those new features. I bought the pixel 6 pro and I was tortured with dropped calls, no internet issues anywhere and everywhere daily. Replacing the main board under warranty didn't fix the issue, talked to engineers still nothing. I ended up getting a pixel 7 pro because my warranty expired and I traded the 6 pro in, God help whoever gets that phone when they refurb it.
No problems with the pixel 7 but I wasn't anticipating spending 350 dollars on a new phone when the 6 pro specs and 7 pro specs are so close... What I get 1x more zoom. Cool. I basically payed Google to fix a product that should have been right off the bat. They refused to extend my warranty but said they couldn't return it because it was past the return date... They also told me it's a known issue. An entire year I experienced monetary losses from that phone, missing interview calls, job opportunities and contract related calls. What torture, I couldn't even use Google maps. I had to buy a whole different phone service to use on my old pixel 2 xl because it worked better lol
