- Patch 11.0 just came out on Thursday and with it came a brand new character… buffed Byleth! In all seriousness, we finally got changes to Byleth and we at the lab team could not be happier with the improvements. They mainly make our advantage state even better, with some other quality of life improvements thrown in for good measure. Resources are linked below:

actually you can do down tilt / up tilt-> buffered IDJ nair -> up b at 0 - 23% (20% for up tilt + back hit) I posted that on my Twitter

@@Altalune01 Up tilt up b's 'inconsistency' with launch angles is something i was going to look into for catching DI, but you can react to DI at a minimum so it's good to know when and where up b will be able to strike. You're also correct that up tilt links into nair and nair links into up b - those are idj bnbs, although usually I go for it through plats and use sh/fh nair otherwise.
@@happyducky9872 Does up b still connects if you down tilt under the platform, nair thought and land on it tho? Or you go for like a dash attack or something else
@@Altalune01 Yes landing nair up b is a combo and can work on platform techchases

I 100% agree with this comment. I didn't understand what these buffs meant for Byleth before this vid. Very grateful for it. (I also became a Byleth main when he released. I feel I was one of the only few people that were actually wanting Byleth before his release ever since I played 3 Houses, haha).

Poor DK - and even though SDI down + away can cause him to survive it looks like that DI causes dj fair to combo out of it which definitely can KO.
