Okay, something I wanna see is a 2-4 man squad doing this. But all the automated versions you've done before. Auto defense, auto farm, auto sort, and auto hide gear etc. Just to see just how much power you guys can acquire.

I'd love to see all of those concepts wrapped up into one massive 4 man autobahn that basically does everything except build itself. They would be unstoppable with a fully automated megacompound
It would be nice if they could, I don't know, have a 100 server but with 5 half sized islands, and each island has one of the different monuments with exclusive loot needed to advance. Meaning you have to invade each island at least a few times.
Okay, this one was honestly pretty awesome. What seemed like a silly idea ended up actually turning into an unlimited resource farm. i hope to see you guys setting this up in future wipes. Remember to call it Big willies metal if you do.

Wiljum's videos feel so calm with the music, and they feel like 20 mins instead of an hour. Definitely one of if not the best rust content creator out there.
I feel like there needs to be more people like Willjum in rust. Not just sweating every wipe, and just chill and have fun. It’s a game not real life.
Im going to be honest, every crazy base i ever built was ALWAYS and i mean ALWAYS created or was on Willjum's channel. I dont know how or why but his building is just....too good to be true. Thank u will for making most of my wipes easy.

This one badly needed more garage doors and a couple indoor turrets for the inevitable offline raid that comes to every base with a profitable shop.
Yeah base it goes hard, but I don't like the speedy cut sceens he's started doing, he's losing his chilled narrative
@BoneKey I always use a costume 2x1 it's good as a solo so If I was you I would build your own design
Man, Willjum videos after a 12 hour stressful work day makes me feel relaxed and calm. So thankful for these videos.
Something I've noticed about Rust in my recent return to the game - even big aggro clans don't seem to mess with the farm shops so often. They might come demanding tribute on occasion, but as long as you don't present a front like you're any kind of competition to them, they'll let you live.
@@user-yd2ug9uf3f Can you tell me how to do the diplomacy thing? Most people I see, even big clans, just kill me on sight.. I have the issue of "Hey i wanna play this game again", about 30-ish hours of in-game time later, "nah this game is too toxix", then a few months later, rince and repeat....
Especially if you provide a service like a shop selling something they want. I was farming and selling berries at one point and multiple groups around were protecting my base cause they wanted what I was providing. Easier than doing it themselves.

I realized right away when you were like, "why is there all these people by my base?!" They knew instantly when you killed their guy who it was and went to see if you were home. Then probably said a few words, messed with your base a bit and left. The fact you had no idea they were coming back with boom was on you I guess at that point. It would pay to have a second base to hold your actual loot when running this kind of operation especially if you're broadcasting to the server.
Man you have kept me entertained for many hours Willjum. I owe you man, your videos are just absolute peak performance and quality. You have made my life so much brighter in the past couple of months. Thank you so much man.

i wonder if there is anywhere on a map where you could just build a tc and some storage and no walls and have it hidden from view? like behind some metal containers or something... so u could technically have the smallest base ever by not having any walls at all.. maybe on top of somewhere u cant normally climb? or underwater? i dunno...
you can kinda do it at this one bus stop but you need at least 1 or 2 walls to close it off

Love your videos. Not a player of the game but just love your content and have been subbed for a while now. Today I got to see you educate your fan base on one the strongest driving forces in all of human existence and that would be convenience. No matter how much more money it will cost, human beings will almost always choose convenience over saving. It is truly such a mysterious force you can find in almost all things that involves a form of money and time. Great video and as always so very entertaining to watch :D What comes next? Get some of your Rust friends involved in the business to see how far you can take it? Imagine if it was profitable to sell rockets to an entire server 😈
If you need more storage on a base design like this, you can place a window over tc and a triangle shelf out from it and fit 4 boxes instead of 2

it is insane that the base could be reset so easilly after a raid. you have that base back on track in no time! except with TC griefing though. but with how you got raided its almost better to not honeycomb it to much and just take the hit give away the loot and buy your way back into the game next morning with 10k metal frags!
Yeah its weird, they do an offline but then don't grief. I am sure they will degen to that stage eventually.

@Willjum As a solo with no friends willing to play, it's moments like 8:41 that end up causing me to logout for a breather, then I login to a server that I am now playing catch up in which is difficult solo. I salute you, and anyone else able to persevere, but as a solo in my shoes, with only a few hundred hours logged, it can really be tough to push on. Personally, this is probably the coolest game I have ever seen, and I love it. Although I have spent WAY more time watching YT videos than I have ever spent playing, I still really enjoy this game for the amazing possibilities. This game is special. Thanks for sharing your adventures to allow me to live precariously through you!

Console rust finally got rideable horses
You could have a "shop base" advertised separate from your main base, maybe. Upkeep wouldn't be an issue if you are farming as much metal as you were doing here and you'd be free to advertise it while only risking the shop base. They'd have to guess which one of the nearby bases is actually yours and you'd otherwise be free to advertise it as much as you want.

i found your youtube last week and since then i've been watching all of your videos even though i don't play rust. perhaps because as a solo gamer myself i can feel how passionate and how much you love this game and not just playing it for youtube. i bought rust on the release day and just tried it a bit but didn't continue playing for the reason that i don't remember but after watching your videos i feel like wanting to install and try it again. :)
