I absolutely LOVE Rust! I purchased the game out of pure randomness in December of 2013.
The game had just dropped, and nobody had heard of it before, and nobody was talking about it.
Here I am almost 11 years later and *STILL* can't get enough of this damn game! Honestly one
of the only things I hate about Rust is... the fact that servers wipe so frequently! After spending
10k+ hours on the game, it absolutely SUCKS to spend usually 2-3 days getting all geared up and
beefing up your base in hopes to avoid being raided, all for the servers to wipe just a day or two
later! What many Rust fans who haven't been around since the beginning probably don't know is
the fact that back in the day it was fairly common for servers to stay up for a month or two before
they were forced to wipe! I absolutely LOVED THIS and wish more servers did this! Anything less
than a 2 week wipe is way too short in my opinion! I get that servers end up laggy because of too
many bases etc. But there are other ways that can be prevented without actually wiping the server!
I personally prefer getting to know my neighbors, finding out who I can trust, who are my enemies
etc. And farming, grinding, building up, getting to know people etc. all within just a short 3-4 day
wipe is honestly a kick in the nuts in my opinion! Especially considering how much I love the game
aside from the fact these servers wipe way too fucking often!

I've been designing boat bases ever since boats were first introduced to the game!
Glad to finally see some big named streamers on board! I've caught so much flack
over the years for the fact that I *ALWAYS* and *ONLY* build boat bases and refuse
to live anywhere other than on the shores of Rust! I've had people tell me that boat
bases are "ass" and are the "easiest bases to raid" and that I should consider only
making a boat base for temporary comp/barrel runs on the water etc. However, I've
got to the point where in the last 50+ wipes I've played, I've only been raided ONCE!
Not only are boat bases the easiest place to setup for a solo/duo squad, but I also
find it so much easier to stack up on components, low grade fuel, high quality metal
while out on a boat than anywhere I can find those mats on land! Not only that, you
typically don't have to worry about fire fights out on the open seas! And even if you
do take on some fire, you can always keep a scuba suit ready to go so you can just
"OH FUCK!" hop into the water and quickly save yourself from enemy fire!
There's literally NOTHING FUNNER then getting away with a ridiculously full bag
of top tier loot as you jump into the ocean and evade enemy fire by scuba diving
all the way to land! One time I had a team try and gank me the second I got done
with Oil Rig. I had just finished looting the main crate and all the heavies bodies
and they came flying in faster than I could really react! So I simply threw on my
scuba suit, jumped from the very top floor of the rig down into the water, and just
like that I swam at the bottom of the ocean (from oil rig) all the way to the shore
as safe as could be! I felt like such a badass evading the team that was after me!
Especially considering the fact it was day 1 of wipe and I was loaded to the brim!
Hey, Willjum, You should use your Combat Knife to farm Underwater Crates faster. It’s a feature only accessible to the Combat knife and it only takes two hits to an underwater crate to release them.

Great video man.. I run a lot of hemp/berry farms and this video epitomizes what's it's like. You guys really nailed it. From gears being gold to staying awake like an absolute degenerate. The drama was real and I could really feel how much you cared. Those always make for the unforgettable wipes and the best content. Cheers

Man, this was such a great little series. Starting off by getting raided, building back up, and coming back. Through sheer will (pun intended), you guys managed to build a successful cloth farm, win a bunch of kits off more geared players, and top it all off with the proverbial cherry. (The proverbial cherry on top, of course, being Stevie and Willjum standing inside a raid they had won holding all of the loot that the people that raided them had.)
This is the best rust channel on the tube. I watch a lot of them but something about the pace of uploading, relaxing yet exciting gameplay and comedic moments all mixed with quality editing makes it very exciting to see you in my feed. Spoonkid is a close second for... special reasons. 😅

22:30 I have been trying to explain this concept to people in rust for as long as vending machines have existed. Every base should be selling anything they have in bulk for whatever they actually need, and for large groups they should be selling scrap for sulfur/metal. Vending machines make all other players your farmers.

diving recommendations - consider miner's hat for vision, and combat knife for crate release. 2 hits for small box to come untied, 3 hits for large box. much faster =D

Farming berrys and cloth in Rust was my favourite part of the game. I was in an argue with my dad and he destoyed my gaming set up so I have not played rust for 2 years. And though many people say rust destroys your life, it didn't for me. From Rust I have found what I really like to do and now I'm studying in school to become an electrician and I also grow cannabis just because it's interesting and gives me some excitement in life even thought I don't smoke it. This video was great and I will definitely keep watching Rust videos. I'm happy and depressed and what I like about you Willjum is how you decline gambling sponsors because I have been gambing for 6 years since I was 11 and it has ruined me. But I'm trying to be happy and I try to smile.
