Wow… I can’t believe this is 13 years ago. Almost makes me wanna cry watching these older videos because I grew up mimicking his work for HOURS. I never resonated with my inner child due too me going through lots of trauma at a young age, I was forced too grow up fast. But, looking back on these videos makes me feel like a kid again. Now i am (apparently) best in my class, and everyone always compliment me on the eyes i draw. and i have told them that its only because of you. I see this is one of your oldest realistic eye videos, and they show that no one, even if your not the youngest artist, you can still improve! This eye is do-able by even me, an amateur 12 year old aspiring artist, then your current videos, heck. They're practically IMPOSSIBLE for me at the moment. @markcrilley Question. I didn't put a reflection in the eye beforehand, but can I add the reflection afterwards with an acrylic pen, literally over the existing graphite?

9 years ago I watched this at 13yrs old when we first got wifi and I followed every step. I was amazed at my potential and still draw eyes all the time at 22. Back in 2019 my parents couldn’t believe I drew it. I am thankful for this video! ♥️

When you wan't to draw something. 1. Take it slow because you'll probably fail the first time. 2. Don't get frustrated even if you fail a few time. 3. Keep drawing more and more. This is how I learn to draw stuff. I just draw.
pathetic plays The reason I disliked was because I was looking towards drawing a REALISTIC eye. (I'd classify my self as above average in art, obviously not the best). But he made some mistakes in this drawing, the tear duct is too small and looks like it's not part of the eye? Also, the eyelashes shouldnt just be going to the right, once they get to the middle they have to start going the other way. (But this was made 5 years ago, so I don't blame him)

When you wan't to draw something. 1. Take it slow because you'll probably fail the first time. 2. Don't get frustrated even if you fail a few time. 3. Keep drawing more and more.

pathetic plays The reason I disliked was because I was looking towards drawing a REALISTIC eye. (I'd classify my self as above average in art, obviously not the best). But he made some mistakes in this drawing, the tear duct is too small and looks like it's not part of the eye? Also, the eyelashes shouldnt just be going to the right, once they get to the middle they have to start going the other way.
(But this was made 5 years ago, so I don't blame him)
