Just want to warn that Casetify products *ruined* my phone and because I'm not from the US and don't want to exchange it for another product I have to pay for shipping (that's about €40) plus the fixing of the phone (€80) and other costs due to the damage (€20). They're also really difficult to get a hold of, and very much just bots answering everything. I strongly DO NOT recommend casetify if you're outside of the US and/or have an iphone 15 because... €140 is a lot to have to spend bc of their products. I'm sorry lilsimsie but I have to warn people about their shady practices

In fairness the areas of Germany that were clearly inspiration for the old areas of Windenburg do have really, really steeply arched roofs in a lot of cases, I assume like many parts of the world that get a lot of snow, it was a way to prevent snow laying so thickly that the weight overcame the structural integrity of the roofing, Where spoiled Brits could get away with Tudor roofing being much less steep, as (pre-climate change) Winters didn't produce that much snow in a short period of time. Anyway, all this to say, a very steep roof might look odd, but would be in keeping with the world's inspiration!
Here in Canada we have dark sloped roof designs to help snow slide off and keep our homes warm. So it's always cool seeing hot places have different roof designs, roofs really show you the kinda weather different regions have.

I just thought about how now we can soon have “every apartment is a different ____” challenges.
(ADHD thought process: Kayla mentioned apartments -> says she’s doing an autumn themed build -> mentions she’ll do a bunch of winter builds soon -> Vixella just did an “every room is a different season” challenge -> my brain: an apartment complex called the four seasons where every apartment is a different season.)

Challange idea!
Basically Rags to riches mixed with no mistakes. The premiss would be to make a finished house, but if you have placed an item you cant move it again. Only exeption is if you bought a cheap bed in the beginning you can upgrade it, but you have to place it a the same place as the old one!
I would love to see you try this out, I feel like this is right up your alley!

Like those of us not as skilled could upload our sad box houses to the gallery and you make them look nicer. I think it would be so neat to see everyone’s visions for their homes and you tweak it and help w/ your building/decorating skills.

YAAAAY finally a non base game house that I can actually download because I have all the packs! Though I will say they always tend to be the fall houses 😂 I guess that's when Kayla likes to bust out the seasons or cottage living combos ... understandably 😅
I think a cool challeng would be making a fully furnished room and just adding rooms to it. But the challenge is that you cannot delete anything after you finished that room. So the outside is the very last thing, and you gotta work with a starter budget lol 🥰

Limiting packs is ok but why does it always have to be a starter home price? We have cheats and it is so much more enjoyable to see Simsie creativity flows instead of always using the same things because they are cheaper. I don’t know, is it just me that thinks this way?

There's a scary basement bedroom in my grandma's house that is also the laundry room. And another one that's really small, and has a forest wallpaper that I was scared of when I was little. Now the forest room is completely packed with junk and garbage, and I still won't go in.

The bedrooms do give grandma’s house vibes in the absolute best and most cozy way!
With that bed in main bedroom I use a coach/sofa from cats and dogs with a tall backrest (?) and just spit it where the beds headboard is and it looks so nice then. And fills out most of the wall behind the bed 🤣

Back in those days, the kitchen and the chimney were in the center of the house to help the heat from the fireplace radiate throughout the house.

You should just landscape with trees in autumn cus they have all the gorgeous colours the leaf's are red, orange, and yellow and the trees with needles are green. Everyone is happy that way!

While I get that you pretty much only build small houses, it would be awesome if you could think a little about routing, for gameplay in some builds. It´s sooo annoying playing in houses so small the sim can just barely walk around. If your houses were just a liiitle bigger and not so tight, it would make gameplay so much better for those who download your beautiful builds :)
