The airport should employ people to clean and maintain the airport daily,morning,afternoon and evening. That is how to keep it looking new.Have a facility management team with a manager like it's done in every airport abroad.They need to demolish the old airport and and expand the new one to where the old one is.Nice one,thank you.

Nigeria is moving forward. In the past, Lagos airport felt like a dungeon from a scary movie. Looks like armed military personnel are no longer there to intimidate passengers.
I love this Terminal and the government should make maintenance as a priority and official training in passengers relationship, God bless Nigeria

Air Peace should come to Brazil and take over Nigeria and Africa
I left through Lagos on Qatar in January. I checked in through the new terminal, which was certainly as nice you saw. But, the experience thereafter was an *absolute* disgrace, especially after going through the new terminal’s security. Instead of leaving through the new terminal, I was directed to the old terminal via a big hall, at which point, I entered a no-AC, dirty, and derelict environment. Very long story short, between the terminals, I was checked by security and immigration personnel 8 times (oftentimes within feet of each other), encountered rude staff [whom I let have it from me a few times], little organization, and more. I was drenched when I got on the plane. The one and only upside was that not one staff member asked me for money.

Terminal looks great one question was it air-conditioned? I left Legos on Wednesday from the old terminal and ice sweat like crazy at immigration and getting my boarding pass. Nothing like sweating and knowing you have a 12 hour flight ahead of you.

I am very much in agreement with you, the metal structure in the midst is artistic and attention grabbing. This video was a bit grainy. Other than this another useful and educational video share. Cool and neat aircraft
Sassy Funke, you wondered why bigger jets are not using the new terminal. The story is that after the construction of the airport was completed it was found that the jetway (the enclosed walkway to the plane) was not made for the larger planes that ply transcontinental routes. When I flew the same route a year ago, it was only Air Peace that was using the new terminal.

@@frankbediako1372, you can argue that it is not the best, but to say it is not functional when someone just flew from it is the dumbest ever. You are one of those Ghanaians who believe that everything about Nigeria is negative. Why are Ghanaians pained when they see anything good about Nigeria? Nigeria has many shortfalls, but it is still way ahead of Ghana, and there are a lot of positives about Nigeria. Ghanaians should accept it and stop the hate.
@Sunny Yande The problem is that you guys jump on the social media space without researching. Let me put in a nutshell for you: the aprons can not accommodate larger aircrafts. That is why the airliners are still using the old terminal. It is a white elephant. Go and take a look at my earlier post. Even Sassy agrees with me. SMH!

Well done Funke!✈ Maintenance culture is the key. It is economical and allows legacy projects and improvements to benefit subsequent generations. Professor Pius Adesanmi's book on this very subject, "Naija No Dey Carry Last", is a must read. As the nation has embarked on a host of infrastructure projects a self-maintenance🦺 (Nigerian mechanics, technicians and engineers) ideology must take hold. Just as we implement a healthy diet and workout routine for ourselves as individuals. This keeps us fit, healthy, and looking good like you. 😉 📈
